Goodbyes and Aways!

Every now and then a person has need to step away from the forum or the web as a whole, in order to focus on other things! I thought it might be useful to make a thread where you can announce that you are away, semi-active, or exiting the forum for good!

You don't need to provide a reason if you don't want to; but it might be nice to provide some external contact details like an e-mail if you'd like people to keep in touch. Its also a good idea to say when/if you expect to be back, so people don't get confused!

If you are returning; remember to edit your post to note you are back!  :ha:

Also please note this is not a space for providing forum feedback; please do that here (https://forum.melonland.net/index.php?board=1.0) or send me a pm!

Edit: I am back.

I had already put it in my signature on last week before I left, but I'm back for a little today before going away again :dive:.
I am gone for a bit for my exams and my health, approximately until after 11th of September. :unite:
I am also not updating my Neocities, my status.cafe/mood stuff, and very likely not posting on smol.pub either. I get emails about private messages on here, so if you send me any, I'll see it. And there is the email address on my profile as well!

Hello Melon Land!! I know I just joined this forum, but I wanted to make an announcement that I need to take a short break from the net for a month!  :ohdear:

The reason why I'm leaving is good, I'm preparing to move across the country (well, technically "down" the country - I'm moving from Wisconsin to Texas!) with my boyfriend.

Because of this, I'll only be rarely active (both here and on my website!) while I spend most of my time packing, moving, unpacking, and getting settled.

I plan to return to the internet June 1st! Until then, you can reach me via email or on Signal (my contact info for Signal is on my website)  :innocent:

I promise I'll bring back stories of my journey when I return,

Hey uh... it feels really weird to do this like two days after I joined but
I just had to put down my cat today. Yes, the very same cat my website is built around.
So I'm... not really okay at the moment
And I need to step back from the internet for a while and grieve.
And I hope you can understand why I will be avoiding anything to do with my website for a while.
Hopefully I'll be back after I've had time to recover.

I'm sorry my time here was so brief.

EDIT: I'm starting to recover from all that and feeling better so I may ease back into things soon.

Hey everyone! I've been focusing on some important family situations, life and career transitions, and managing some increased mental health challenges, so I needed to step away for a few weeks. I'm excited to be back now! This space has always been such a positive part of my life, and I'm looking forward to reconnecting and getting involved again!  :wizard:

Hi!  I know I said I was back but I’m going to be stepping away for a bit again probably till early December. I’m moving into a new apartment and need to focus on the move My hope is that once I move into a better living situation I’ll be able to get my site back up as well. :mark:  Hi :wizard: I've decided to take a forum holiday for a week or two; Iv been on the forum just about everyday since it was first started, and its in a nice place right now, so I think its a good moment for me to take a short break!

I will be leaving you in the trusty hands of @ThunderPerfectWitchcraft (https://forum.melonland.net/index.php?action=profile;u=706) and @Cobra! (https://forum.melonland.net/index.php?action=profile;u=51) who are both the forum mods, they know everything they need to keep things running smoothly, please contact them if you need assistance.

I'll be away from tomorrow and I will return sometime around the 10th of December. I will continue to work on projects during this time, but it'll be nice to have some headspace too!

Finally finished my move (intercity but still hard!) and super excited to be back!  :transport:
