Hi all!
I was cruising around and found this place. I spent countless hours growing up on some forums associated with an MMO guild I was involved with, so this feels like a homecoming.
I’m into programming (mainly with HTML, CSS and Ruby), reading (most anything, though mostly it’s been nonfiction type stuff. I just finished The Cryptopians because apparently I love a good train wreck) and just sort of taking it easy.
Happy to be here!

Hi, welcome wris! :ozwomp:
Can confirm this is a cool place to be! It's nice being thrown back into familiar spaces after being away from forums for so long, innit?

Hii wris, welcome to the forum! :4u:
I like your site "of all the places i exist on the internet, this is one of them" this is a very true statement :omg: And I think the argument of are broken links a feature is interesting; there is a temporal beauty to decay; often digital spaces have no sense of time, but broken links have a sense of loss; they are gateways that close and moments that are lost; that doesn't need to mean anything, but time means a lot to humans :omg:k:

Hello there! I'm new too, welcome! It is a lot like coming back to an old hangout.
I like your musings. I get a lot of satisfaction out of projects that evolve over time and are the accumulation of small bits of work over the years. As you put it, it's like gardening.

Ah! So nice of you all to say so!
I think there’s a lot of pressure online for things to be finished, good, and permanent. That’s a tough combo to hit without losing some of the human touch, maybe.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
