it's been so long since i saw a nice new forum! i love the theme so much, it's a real delight :4u: high-contrast and colourful forever! ehehe
back in 2011 i used to be a mod for an SMF-based forum (RIP, i don't miss geek culture from back then :tongue: ) but was super cool to see it used here. i found this forum from Sadness' page! er... i think, anyway
the idea of making new stuff is always cool! ^.^ i'm hoping to make my own site with neocities and a gopher hole someday!

-was tech n00b basically all my life, i toyed with trying to learn HTML & CSS years ago with Butterfree's guides (The Cave of Dragonflies) but got lost, gave up. only recently finally installed GNU/Linux on new pc from my best friend :ha: i really wanna ride it this time and do something beyond just learning BBCode, ha! i have a goal to learn C and make a game like my family remember (Dungeons & Dragons on an old computer, with no like pictures or anything. one of the Tandy-thousand ones)
-i love arts!! stories, music, pictures, dance, etc <3 most all my ability is just in creating OCs via kisekae and touching up in image program (paint.net, so far) though >< but that's been enough to use as reference for commissioning art at least hehe
there's no such thing as truly "bad art"! except maybe just pure hate/mocking art, i guess. idk.
-relatedly i love rpg maker games and visual novels <3 especially the rare VN dungeon crawler RPGs, ehe
oh, and i haven't seen any activation/confirmation email? idk if that's a thing here, or if my email not get it (i literally made new email address just prior soooo...)
i've been passively wanting to find a new forum community for super long, so def would love to get to stay here, the place seems nice ^ ^
(i hope resizing my text doesn't come off rude/showy, i just like it bigger to read haha ;w:wink:

I agree this forum is lovely to the eyes. And it's an active and super friendly community too!
What GNU system do you run now? u.u I am currently on Arch w/ XFCE, but what do you run? Oh, and C is a terrible first language to learn! If you do go through with it I will be extremely proud and in awe of you XD

Wow there's a lot here; I hope you post about some of your RPG and visual novel work! C was my first language tooo (but then I quit for 5 years sooo I dunno..) Maybe someday we well make a weird mashup forum visual novel where everyone contributes art and story and we merge it all into some sort of monstrosity :innocent:
