I like drawing swords and I like drawing people using swords.

I used to make little games on my family pc when I was in highschool.

I never gave up the hobby and eventually, after about 4 years of development in my free time, I put something out on Steam.

The game development aspect was really fun, and I don't regret any of the time I spent developing the game, or drawing the art, or making music. If you have higher aspirations about your project though, you really need to be good at the self-promoting, social media shilling game. I wasn't, so only a few dozen people ended up playing it. Part of that was that it was a one-man passion project with very obvious programmer art, I can't pretend I made some masterpiece that the masses just don't understand. The reality of the situation though is that making a good game is not the only skill you need in order to release a game.

I really enjoyed making a game, but promoting it was pretty stressful, and I'm not sure it was worth the effort. The problem is though, making something that you know is never going to be played just feels pointless.

It's not super clear on the website, but you can actually reroll each inner box individually by clicking on it.

You can also download or edit the tables the generator uses to add or remove your own entries.

Oh man, the recursion can get a bit out of control some times . Absurd creations are part of the charm of random generators though, so I leave it in.

I use a few other forums, mostly just for hobby stuff though.Giant in the Playground https://forums.giantitp.com has a great forum for rpg discussion. https://rpg.net serves a similar purpose, but I use it a lot less frequently.

Zenius-i-vanisher https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/forums.php Is one of the few places to talk about rhythm games, although not that many people want to so it's a bit small haha. There are still a good amount of custom songs and mods being made there though.

I found this place linked by some other sites, and the vibe looks kinda nice, so I'm checking it out.

I like hiking and hot sauce. Really really spicy hot sauce. For games, I like tabletop rpgs and rhythm games. I even bought a hardwood ddr pad to play on my pc.

I'm also trying to teach myself digital art. Let me know if you want something drawn, but keep in mind that I'm an amateur trying to practice.
