I have clip studio paint, I don't use it much though. I mostly use paint tool sai, I perfer it when it comes to digital art. I also have and use photoshop, procreate, and medibang. For graphics and design I use photoshop, and sometimes paint shop pro 9, paint tool sai, & procreate.
As an illustrator myself, I am very staunchly against AI art. Sadly the majority of those singing the praises of AI art have actually just shown they do not want to pay or support artists.
Like it's laughable that these people don't know that professional working artists will always have clauses in their contracts for commercial rights of usage and so forth. I have done this myself in the past.
More examples of these AI bros that just make the whole thing disingenious to me and quite frankly laughable that I have zero respect for any of them, if they don't respect us in the first place. This screenshot And this
Now writing and photography isn't my lane. I'm speaking here in the realms of digital illustration. I absolutely believe there always should be consent and artists permission given first. If an artist wants to make images specifically to feed an AI program, than great! But I still fear the future it will give for working class artists. Corporations will want to use it as it's cheaper than hiring human labour, and I have genuinely seen people on bird app say "what's the point in being an artist anymore, I won't do it", which is so dystopian. It's horrible to rip away an ability that's innate within all of us.
And I disagree. I think there is zero skill whatever ever needed to just type a few words into a program to play lottery on what you're gonna get as an image.
EDIT: while I did say 'writing and photography isn't my lane', I do believe those creators should have their rights, copyrights and consent given first at all times.
I 100% agree with this, I don't support AI images.
Dragon Ball /Z/Super, Ouran High School Host Club, Shaman King, Detective Conan, Sailor Moon /Crystal, Maid Sama, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Pokemon, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, etc. Anime is easier to consume, but I do prefer manga.
Not too often but the ones I mostly listen to off and on is any from Dateline, Celebrity Memoir, FluentlyForward, Keira's World, Vice News Reports, & Voices for Justice.
I use to own some fanlistings and loved them, now I am trying to get back in them. I have applied for one at the anime fanlistings so we will see, but I do have some more idea for others. My favorites are for the relationship Arnold & Helga of Hey Arnold and Harry & Hermione of Harry Potter.
Online shopping is a plus. I like that it is easier to find communities for everything, fandom is more accepted. Information is more avaiable. When it comes to web design I like that more sites are in dark mode, larger font sizes, and such, which is great for my eye sight.
I blog on my personal site, I don't limit myself on topics even if in the blogging community that makes me less likely to get hits or comments, since in that community it's more about niches. I just write about what I like and what I want. My content mangment system is Wordpress so that is a techinically a blogging software but it is also a content mangment system and I liked the categories, and tagging system, and I feel like it overall works for my site and me. Choose what works for you.
You don't need to fit into a niche, write about what you care about, your life, funny childhood stories, you can talk about tv shows or movies, books, fandom, make up you like, fashion, etc. You don't need a schedule, you don't have to do it once or twice a week like a lot of people do, like I only blog roughly twice a month. My warning is not to get too personal about your life, only because you don't know who will find it or use against you. That is one of the reason why when I write about my life, I don't do it in real time.
i do! hey arnold: although there is a small community online i feel like it's a black sheep fandom, lmao. i listen to a lot of music artists that most people won't recognize, like boy scouts, samia, arlo parks, and more (i'm so indiepilled and underground /s) a lot of stuff i used to find myself alone in liking has grown over the years like milo murphy's law and eizuoken. however most stuff i like have communites (big or small) or are at least recognizable to others which is good!
I love Hey Arnold, I'm big into the fandom also. One of my favorite fanfiction is from the Hey Arnold fandom.
Something that related to that and the topic, my favorite character is Lila, I related to her and Phoebe a lot as a child.
I love to cook, I actually didn't learn how to really cook until my late 20's when I became vegan, because before then I didn't need to cook because I would eat prepare food, and fast food all the time, and the area I am doesn't have any vegan options outside of the grocery stores so I had to learn. I like to make so much so I will only say a few things, spicy mushroom and tofu sushi, blacken heart of palm sushi, and spicy heart of palm sushi (suppose to be a spicy tuna salad substitute.) I actually eventually want to make them into recipes but if anyone wants them I can describe what I do.
