I recently discovered The Stupendium, and I think they're my new favorite nerdcore artist. Also their videos are amazing.

I love me some nerdcore, and these two videos by The Stupendium, for Five Nights At Freddy's Security Breach and Poppy's Playtime respectively, are so fun. Major earworms too!

I mean I used to watch video on my (modded) iPod Nano.



This tiny postage-stamp sized screen was a great boredom killer before I had a smartphone, lol!

I have so-called "online friends" I've known for 20 years. My closest friends are people I met online. "Four months" is arbitrary and obviously only their experience, which even then I have to question.

This goofy ass song goes WAY harder than it has any right to and I absolutely love it.

I love baking, I'm a little iffy on cooking. It's super satisfying to have something turn out and all, but cooking a meal is (to me at least) trickier than a lot of baking. I'm trying to learn, though!

I do have a recipes page on my site! It's kinda a backburner project, but it's getting there little by little.

This reminds me that I wish I'd managed to hang on to my late best friend/roommate of 8 years' ipod classic. Would have been neat to have that window into her music taste.

As for me, I had an RCA Lyra "Micro Jukebox" back in college (c.2004):



This thing had an actual, physical hard drive. It worked fine as far as I can remember, but it's battery did the slow expansion thing until I, the unknowing idiot, was duct-taping the case to keep it together. Little did I realize the danger THAT was at the time, lmao.


I've also had three iPods over the years. Still have all three, too! But unfortunately they're with a bunch of my stuff being stored by friends many states away so I can't take a photo, but these are what I have:



1. pink iPod Nano, 2nd Gen.
2. green iPod Nano, 6th Gen.
3. gray iPod Shuffle, 3rd Gen.

The Shuffle was a gift from the aforementioned best friend, and was engraved with the title of one of my favorite songs at the time, "Monsters Keep Me Company." ❤️

I look forward to getting a hold of my iPods again and seeing what's on them. I suspect one of them at least has a lot of my Invader Zim music (as in songs that fit the characters, etc, not actual songs FROM Invader Zim) from a rough patch I had where I was wearing my headphones everywhere. 🤔

Musical time capsules!

There's an artist on YouTube (does primarily game fan music, especially Five Nights At Freddy's) who has to upload nightcore versions of his own songs to prevent other people from doing it and getting views off his work. Also backwards versions are apparently a thing??

Anyway yeah some songs work in nightcore but most of the time it just kinda sounds like the chipmunks to me, lol.

I was not aware that so many early game stuff where focused around trivia. Maybe its my perception or just my experience but I don't feel like there is much interest in trivia these days.

Might have been because trivia involved very simple input for responses, which worked well in the relatively simple systems of the time.

I have had the same smartphone for about four years now, and I still love it. Samsung Galaxy S9. Good camera, runs well, not full of bugs like my first smartphone was.

Honestly I do miss my old Motorola Razr flip-phone though, for it's cute style.
