I'm on YouTube a LOT. It bothers me immensely how awful its management has become. Still, my favourite creators remain on there so I'm stuck there. I love to watch informative videos on urban projects in cities, weird history, socialism, fashion, videos on movies... Also love funny videos like livestreams, let's plays and meme compilations. And I'm an avid fan of the unexplainable, creepy and scary, so when I'm in the mood I watch paranormal compilations, murder tales, backrooms videos and the such. Often I give videos my full attention. But I also like to scroll Tumblr or Reddit with the video playing in the corner or a splitscreen with Minecraft.
F9: The Fast Saga Ninth film of the Fast and Furious franchise, one of my favourite franchises. Honestly it was one of the weaker ones but still enjoyable and fun. The physics were so ridiculous that it was genuinely funny. I like how many international locations were used. I honestly can't get enough new movies from F&F. And it's not like the first two were good and the rest sucked, they're all good to great, some of the best are even later ones.
oh yeah! once i was watching a minecraft video where the two guys were acting like an earthquake happened in-game. they then walked around to look at the damage done to their builds. it's probably laughably unbelievable now (doesn't make it a bad video though!) but i 100% believed that minecraft earthquakes were a thing and that they weren't acting.
Oh that doesn't have to have been a fake video! There were and are wild mods for that game. Weather 2 for example adds actual tornados that also make blocks fly around, it's super cool!
There's also an earthquake one I think.
i mean the guys were acting like they didn't know what was going on while it was definitely planned
Opera is nice. I don't know much about browsers, but since switching to Opera from Chrome, my laptop battery life has almost doubled. It looks cooler, is more customizable, and add-ons are just as easy as on Chrome. JSchlatt's sponsorship of it convinced me.

i still eat hazelnut spread with banana pieces but not as monstruously overloaded
I don't really listen to Lana Del Rey but 'Summertime Sadness' so perfectly encapsulates the experience of Summer when you're angsty, depressed or melancholic. And the song hits me quite hard sometimes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdrL3QxjyVw
When I'm in my garden at night. I'll look up at the stars twinkling in the warm air. They look like pin needle holes pricked through a blanket that I'm under. I'll spot a satellite disguised as a star. And i spin in a circle and see airplanes flying all directions, carrying hundreds of strangers in zooming metal boxes to i don't know where. And then the moon hits me. People tend to forget we're looking at an enormous floating rock with craters, flags planted on it and autonomous robot rovers chugging about. Wow, i think silently with my mouth agape, life really is amazing.
Hello, even thought I´ve made an acount here a while ago, this is my introduction.
I´m usually known in online circles as Ghaslty . Pronouns are he/they
I´m from Portugal, a total 90s kid (but only first got on the internet in 2000) I´ve always wanted to try and have a site on my own, but felt intimidated too so imagine the irony of me finally get the courage to make one in a era where GeoCities is dead and everyone is on social media. But hey, better late than ever.
But lately I´ve been feeling a bit of frustration with the online world today. It´s not just the lack of privacy, but how it was built to profit over vitriol. Even fandoms spaces! Lately it´s getting worse where someone will send you death threats because they don´t approve your ship for "moral reasons", as if the flamers from 2000s weren´t bad enough, but at least you knew it was for petty reasons back then.
So I decided to take a break and actually build a space just from me without the drama. Which is why I created creaturefeature I think it´s supposed to be a love letter to my favorite movie monsters, weird animals and whatever else caught my interest. And I´ve been having fun making it.
so, thanks for having me
Hey Ghastly, I checked out your website and I love it. It's cute with a creepy edge. Adore the virtual creatures section. Great job!
Papa's Freezeria is one of my favorites, as well as the other games in that franchise. Jacksmith, I believe it was called, was one I also really liked. You would play as a donkey-type character and make swords & weapons for other animals, then take them to war. Thanks for making this thread, lots of nostalgia coming back!
I'm glad this topic is giving you the feelies! Thanks for responding
As we all know, Adobe Flash was shut down December 31, 2020. It was a very sad and unpopular decision. Luckily many flash game sites managed to update before this date, and many flash games still exist. Yet, undoubtly too many have been lost, possibly forever. Tell us: what was (or is!) your favourite flash game that you remember playing? Tell us when you played it, why, and if it's still out there. If you think it's worth checking out link it along with your comment!
In my case I mostly went on Spele.nl https://spele.nl/. It's a Dutch games website that still exists. My go-to games would be Happy Wheels, Apple Shooter, Buddy, Acrobat Girl and any racing or monster truck game. I visited that site almost very often between ages 9 to 11. I tested my girlfriend's and I compability on the Love Tester. Our names were never a good percentage. Maybe it was one of the reasons for our primary school romance breakup. Then I tested it with my name and my first boy crush... our score was much better. I've since gone back to the site a few times for nostalgia. Sadly the site design has 'modernized' (re: stylistically deteriorated) and slowly fewer and fewer old games remain playable. At least it still exists and works for the current 11 year olds.
Oh and recently I played 'Run' for the first time. With the little alien where you have to switch walls while running through space? I played for 40 minutes straight, not giving up, until I suddenly had enough lol. I think that's typical for flash games in general.
It's really interesting to hear that other people have school dreams as adults! I know there's the classic trope of "realizing you showed up for class naked" and stuff, but I didn't realize it was a real thing for other people. I do have school dreams a lot (not the naked one!), but they're never at anything resembling my real schools, just weird imaginary places. I always imagine myself in the dream as I am now (instead of being a kid), and they're almost always anxiety about schoolwork. Typically it's a scenario like:
I suddenly show up back in class, and realize I should have been attending class this whole time because High School never stopped. Now I'm in 22nd grade or something, and I have no idea what's going on because I missed a decade of classes Or a variant of the same thing, where I've been on vacation this whole time, and now school is starting again, but we have a project due that we should have been working on for the past 10 years and I just neglected it
Arrrgh, it's so stressful! It's just that total dread about showing up for class unprepared, and it is such a huge relief when I wake up and realize I actually did graduate and don't have to rush to class in the morning.
That sounds sooo stressful. But also kind of funny- 22nd grade haha! Thanks for sharing. My stressy school dreams happen when I have an exam the next day (I'm currently still in University), I ALWAYS without exception dream about leaving the house too late, taking multiple trains, missing them, being on the wrong one, not knowing what station I'm in... Extremely disorienting and frustrating and awful. And then I wake up anxious, realize I have an exam today, and get double anxious! It's no bueno.
Made from scratch authentic pizza. I love - chicken with pineapple and bbq sauce - four cheeses - tuna with extra tomato sauce and basil leafs - spicy peppers
I DON'T like the typical sausages or pepperoni. Or sea fruit, yuck.
