Is that the article that calls me a "nostalgia miner" ? Doko mentioned it to me; I like Doko a lot, but I think his taste in articles and his view on stealing is dead wrong.

The person who wrote the passion article misses the fundamental point of the web revival and of being a creative human. Nostalgia is a way of reaching peoples hearts, it's about speaking to their soul in a way that words alone cant.

What is pointfullness? What is the point of anything? We are born, we live and we fade away eventually. Everything is just emotions and dreams tied together with a few fragments of purpose we call logic. The logic is not important without the human experience of emotion.

We make sites to express our humanity (or post-humanity for some people), the point is to reach out and to exist, to say "hey im here", to speak to the hearts and souls of others and hope that for one fragment of a moment we can exist together.

There is no right or wrong way to do that; you don't need to write articles or provide code snippets; the first site on neocities that spoke to me was a flashing pizza.

How dare that person call any site useless and how dare they upset you! There is no such thing as a useless site.

I would remove the "(old)" from your scratch link, it makes me think I should not click it because you've abandoned it. *Side Note* I made a scratch game once, it won an award at code camp! Its a cool platform.

Id suggest start with adding some links to other peoples sites and an about page for yourself, then you could expand into some dedicated pages for hobbies or things you like

I don't think there are any faux-pas's (I actually really don't like the idea of faux-pas's in general). Although I personally find it annoying when a page has overly aggressive anime music or something

In terms of picking music.. pick music you like, something you actually want to listen too. It's nice if you can theme it to your pages subject in some way, but I don't think it's essential. In some cases you might want more ambient sound rather than music, or maybe not! It all depends on the vibe your going for!

Yep thats my school, ours was exactly the same, it had a 19th century building that had been an old school and this was built as a separate extra building, we also had a separate gym/hall. The building was demolished shortly after I graduated, I think its a carpark now and there is a new multi-story building connected to the 19th century building.

I don't tend to dream about school that often (I dream about the house I grew up in a LOT though). That said Iv definitely had that maze dream in the school halls; our school was a cheap "temporary" building from the 70s that had very distinctive halls with a weird metal roof.

Ooo, I make pizza at home a lot and honestly I just put on whatever happens to be around the house (bacon, onions, mushrooms, shoes, chairs etc). BUT if Im at a professional pizza establishment my goto toppings are, pepperoni, black olives and anchovies, with lots of mixed herbs n spices. Also I like a thin crispy base and crust more than a bulky one!
