☕︎ ∙ Fun & Forum Games / Re: If you could suddenly be an expert at any one thing...« on: February 24, 2023, 12:52:06 pm »On further consideration, I think I'd be afraid of choosing anything to "suddenly be an expert at". Who we are, our hobbies and experiences, kind of make who we are. If I suddenly changed into an expert at something I don't know the first thing about today, I wouldn't be myself anymore. It'd be like missing memories. Part of the "fun" of being an expert is also not just the skill, but also the memories you make, the people you meet, the events you attend and the little achievements you build up. 48
⛄︎ ∙ Forum Discussion / Re: BUG WATCH! - If you see a bug report it here!« on: February 24, 2023, 12:48:43 pm »When using CTRL+Z to undo inserting BBCode while writing a reply, it erases the entire text, not just the BBCode you inserted. It should probably just undo the last action. This only happens if you use the buttons to apply a BBCode tag on a piece of selected text (e.g. selecting something, clicking the Bold button to encase it in b tags, and then pressing CTRL+Z.) 49

☕︎ ∙ Fun & Forum Games / Image search the username above you« on: February 24, 2023, 11:49:39 am »Heya there! This is a fun forum game I've seen in another forum: basically you use a search engine to search for images of the username above you, and then post one of the first few results here! It can be funny, interesting or plain bizarre. Please keep things SFW and don't post potentially triggering images (looking at you, @spiders! ).58

✁ ∙ Web Crafting / Re: Website size« on: February 23, 2023, 12:03:03 pm »I also wanted to add to this topic the fact that there's little mini-communities of people who have homepages with a certain small file size. For example, the 1MB Club, the 512kB club, the 250kB club, or the 1kB club. 60
✁ ∙ Web Crafting / Re: How do you feel when someone blatantly rips off your website (or other work)?« on: February 22, 2023, 11:54:24 pm »I think a website is definitely "real work", but I also think the beauty in art is seeing it become a part of society as a whole. I never understood being protective of one's own work. |
