Is it better than the original? I heard the art style changed to be more anime-ey. Its one of the main reasons I didnt get that one other than I dont have a 3ds lol. Am I missing out on any new features or added things? Btw what sector are you on ive been stuck on the stupid castle in bootes for 8 hours now.
Couldn't really tell you if it is better than the original since I never really played it but it does hold up on its own I think. I don't really know what's new and what isn't but you're probably good in that regard, I think it's mostly just extra sidequests and stuff like that. Also kind of pissed the 3DS version doesn't even use the 3D function lol
I'm currently in Sector Fornax with about 40 hours, game can get very tough at times but honestly the answer is always just perseverance and building the right team for the job.
Right now i’m playing SMT Strange journey for the DS, about 8 hours in. It’s really good!
Coincidentally I've picked back up Strange Journey Redux on my 3DS which I started a few years ago! I'm actually not opposed to playing the DS original as well since from what I have seen it has a pretty unique vibe. It's a shame the DS and 3DS version don't share the same password system, otherwise we could've shared demon passwords...
I've heard good things about Blender and it's basically the most widely used (free) 3D modelling tool. Though in my experience it's pretty hard to get a grip on using it, but there's definitely more than enough guides online to help you with that.
I used to keep up with a revival project for a dutch online shooter called QPang, which I played for a bit as a kid and really enjoyed (even had a poster of it) until it shut down. Sadly it seems to have been abandoned since there's been no more updates since 2018 so I think the project is dead.
Nevermind I actually found a working build while writing this post! I'm checking it out right now, I'm stoked! Here's some actual gameplay of QPang:
It's now playable here: https://qfighter.eu/ I can't really vouch for it since I haven't played it yet but I could report back on my findings later if people are interested.
Does the forum software support some kind of 'save draft' feature? Often I find myself wanting to reply but not having much time to actually write something out at the moment, and a draft feature could really help. Otherwise I'll just keep using .txt files so no biggie lol
I myself have not been using older tech but using the new stuff like old tech.
This is my goal as well: it's very appealing to get a simple flip phone with a combined amount of two (2) functions but that would quickly turn out to be very impractical in my daily life. It wouldn't necessarily be impossible but things would definitely get harder. I have been thinking about getting a VHS recorder and taping things from my PC using signal converters and the like, just for fun! (time to bootleg serial experiments lain)
I know it from back when I was a huge freddyhead but I never really gave it a chance because I wrote it off as one of "the fnaf guy's dinky old games from before he was COOL". Might actually try it out!
Been playing WORLD OF HORROR for a bit, it's a really cool Junji Ito-horror inspired roguelite with incredibly cool art. It got announced for the Switch which is how I heard of it, but I decided to get it on PC because it seemed like a better fit
But then I got sick (unrelated to the game  ) and I haven't really gotten myself to get back into it lol
One of the more memorable soundtracks to me in the past year is definitely the Shin Megami Tensei V OST, with incredibly atmospheric music all around. Here's the main battle theme:
I also really like the sorrowful Tokyo theme this game has, immediately went :ozwomp: when I heard it for the first time:
Another of the many battle tracks:
There's countless more tracks I could recommend but then this post would be much, much longer than it already is lol
