Here are a few:

What are a few inventions that never seen the light of day? (Meaning inventions that where never seen never the public eye.)
When modern animals finally go extincted what will they look like to future generations?
How will computer files be discovered in the next 100 or 500 years?
What does death look like in the first person prosp- Yea, I need to stop.

EDIT: The second question was about fossils and how future humans will imagine them when the fossil of the animal was alive. I failed to present the question and I am sorry. I would like to thank melon for helping me catch the error.

When the mailman hates being ignored.

There are things that we can eat, others are dangerous, and stuff that is just impossible to put in our mouths. But what if you ignored the limits of the human body? What would be something you would eat, and what would be your new favorite food with the limits removed?

"Old times where better" is a popular statement, however, the people who say it are just adults or teens being nostalgic over everything. So to be fair, what is something that you DON'T miss about childhood?

I'm suspicious that it's another anti-piracy measure

That's something I will never unsee

For me it's raining heavily with strong winds. It kinda scares me because of the flood warnings in other places but I think I will survive.

☔︎ ∙ Help & Tutorials / Is there an easier way of updating footers?
« on: January 06, 2022, 10:02:15 pm »
A few days ago we entered the year of 2022, but one problem was that I had to update my copyright date from 2021 to 2022 on every page. Is there an easier way of doing this where I could just update it once to effect every page?

I think streaming services will completely eliminate the ability for us to archive games. It will be impossible to even download them in order to archive them. Once they're taken down, they're gone. There's also the issue of needing a persistent internet connection, and I can only speak for myself, but my internet is far from stable or fast enough for that.

That's a pretty good point, archiving becomes harder with this approach, it's pretty hard to have the game downloadable with a subscription model since people would exploit that by downloading the games and play them offline.

In a nutshell, Cloud gaming is basically a streaming service like Netflix. Except it's games instead of movies and shows. Quite recently, gaming companies have been pushing digital gaming heavily, because it's cheaper to make digital copies than physical copies, and they have a lot more control over a digital copy. However, one main flaw with digital is that they take up storage, and it can definitely add up, so companies are toying around with a subscription model where they would stream the games to you over the net. this has some pros like the consumer not having to upgrade their hardware for a little longer, or like what I said earlier with storage. But some obvious cons are that if you don't have an internet connection than you can't play your games, or plenty of input lag. Personally for me, I wouldn't mind having a streaming subscription for gaming, but I still would puffer to own my games than having to pay them to use their servers.

« on: December 29, 2021, 07:49:20 am »
Wix is a good point, Id like to see a list of site builders as easy as Wix that are good and free.

Well yes, Wix is a pretty easy and powerful tool for site creators if you don't wanna learn HTML, but it's kinda limiting for people who wanna make something unique like your site. They are kinda left in the dark, this is a problem with a lot of site builders, that's kinda like giving an artist a bunch of templates, paper, colors, pictures, scissors, and tape but no paintbrushes, pencils, pens, or even a marker. However there is a good thing with limitations, limitations force webmasters to think outside the box when making websites.
