No, I listen to speaking, Youtube videos with someone talking. I pause it if I'm reading something where I need to focus.

I don't know anything about MGS but moving away from Fandom is always a great idea. I wanted to do that once but well, the realization is that my fandom isn't alive enough to make that work. Anyways, I'm sure you already know this, don't let Fandom administration know what you're doing.

Not much really? It's not like we have similar interests. Sometimes I show what I've worked on to the one friend that shares at least a little, but we tend to be in totally different fandoms.

We have good relations but I don't see why they would ever care what I do and it's not like I do anything online with "wanting to show irl people" in mind.

Yeah, after downloading the MAL app to track the anime I've been watching, it sometimes sent me a notification to check out new episode discussions. Big mistake lol

It's really a hit or miss, I don't usually post there but def had a miss last summer. Personally I don't think it's worth it because I don't care about actively conversing about every new chapter and episode in each series. I haven't been much to anilist, I just know that some people prefer it

I've suffered from similar things last year so badly I went to see a psychologist and within a week I was diagnosed with OCD and prescribed meds so, yeah ^^' It's a bit better now but idk if meds had anything to do with it or just the fact I found something new to get excited about = making new websites, this forum, etc. I also cut out things that made me feel stressed out, which meant cutting down social media usage to a minimum and doing things such as block myself from accessing sites like reddit on my phone. I've also found hanging out more with my friends has helped. One might wonder how that is connected to video games, but indeed I have returned to some games I used to have no energy for.

So in short, don't do things that feel stressful or not fun. Cut them out if you have to. Hang out with people more if you're someone who might be helped by that. Try to do something different and see if at some point, you might feel more positive towards doing older hobbies as well.

My favourites are the old ones which are nostalgic to me I guess I am "bad" in the way that for many songs I prefer human covers of them Sorry if this ends up too long

My biggest "problem" with a lot of these alternatives is that we get a lot of snow and ice and slush and some of these are just simply not built with that in mind. The town is too small so there are no trains within it (only trains leading to other towns), and even busses go kind of limitedly (not on weekends for example). I survive within the town center just fine with my legs or even my bike if I feel like using it (which I usually don't, walking is more chill ) but the second I need to go to a store that's a bit more to the side, I need a car ride from someone.

Currently, hybrid cars seem to be taking off way better than fully elecrtic cars. It's also because distances here are big, so if you need to drive between multiple municipalities, there might not be enough charging places. It's a slow development I guess, there are more of them all the time. (Though I am currently happy about not having a car because the fuel and electricity prices are through the roof x( )
