I use Qwant because it's European, unless I need something specific fast, then I use Google, because Qwant hasn't been translated into my language yet and doesn't always have relevant local results. I used DuckDuckGo and Ecosia in the past.

I like the slight goth vibe of this. Expressing my newborn goth self

Nobody knows them but it would be these. The first one is an adventure game based on the first season of the cartoon Winx Club, which I used to be a huge fan of as a kid. However, the game was a bit too difficult for me back then and I couldn't understand English, so I was only able to finish the game after I was older and not into the cartoon anymore. Still, I replay it every few years for fun (last time last year). It's not a very... high budget game, with plenty of bugs, but it's somehow stuck on me.

The second one is a horse adventure game with aliens and ancient magical powers and a Kraken. There's four games of them, but the first one is the one I've played the most in my life. The game was also so low budget the files of it weren't hidden, so we used to do stuff like open the horse's texture file in Gimp and recolour it to something else, etc. Apparently this franchise is still going on in the form of an MMORPG called StarStable and books, but I think the magic is lost. They're more about horse girls instead of alien Krakens.

I get not wanting necroposting if it's like a very specific problem question that has already been dealt with in the conversation, then you could just make a new thread if you had other questions. (Not the exact same one.) But it's kind of silly if new users aren't allowed to necropost on a "What's your favourite colour?" thread.

Geocities definitely felt more advanced than Expage. If I recall correctly, you couldn't just edit the whole site with Expage. There were separate fields for the header, body, and footer that you could edit separately, and you were stuck to choose some of their limited options for graphics, dividers, songs, etc. It was still great fun though. I met my best friend on that website, we've been friends for over 20 years, because I stole the color of his background and that made him upset.

That's adorable. I suddenly got memories of a website where you needed to upload a picture in the background and then add text fields, images, videos, etc basically widgets of sorts on top of the background image and that was the website. No memory of the name tho.

Confessions uhhhhh. My first website was actually a horse website on Freewebs which my cousin had received from someone and invited me to edit. I had no idea what was the purpose of such sites though It was called something like stable snowblizzard (sounds kind of... violent in english).
