I'd want a small house in the woods that's easy to take care of, and has enough of a clearing to have a greenhouse and some solar panels. I'd want to focus on self-sufficiency but still be close enough to a town to get things I can't just grow at home.
Inside I'd want a modern rustic aesthetic, a good sized kitchen with a breakfast nook, and a cozy living space. There'd be the master bedroom that I'd share with a special someone and we'd each have our own office space too. my office space would have a daybed covered in cute pillows and plushies~
I would also want a "catio" so I can let my cat enjoy the outdoors without letting him ravage the bird population haha
I love watching vtubers and have also tried vtubing myself! (I'm too shy to share one of my own clips though lol. but I will share my model that I made myself!)
my oshi is magni dezmond, and I also really like ceres fauna, elira pandora, and pomu rainpuff~ here's some of my favorite clips :3
I first heard of vtubers a few years ago when my brother showed me a video of kiryu coco and sakura miko in which miko had to describe something in english and coco had to figure out what she was saying. she called the statue of liberty "freedom lady" xD but I really got into watching vtubers from watching inugami korone, usually clips with english subs but I also found her livestreams very entertaining even if I couldn't understand japanese! I'm always quoting this clip of her super mario bros stream:
(I'm watching the nijisanji en collab of sons of the forest as a type this hehe)
I've been playing xenoblade chronicles 3 since december and still haven't finished it because every time I play I do a bunch of side quests instead of advancing the main plot lol but I'm enjoying every minute of it so it's probably good that I'm spending so much time on it!
I also started kirby and the forgotten world the other day and it is very cute and fun~
and I want to get octopath traveler 2 but I gotta finish my other games first haha
scrolling social media feels so mindless now, while browsing personal sites feels fun and exciting! as a result I've been using social media a lotttt less and I think my mental health has improved.
I feel like the web revival community has changed my relationship with life in general too. instead of looking for something quick to distract me from bad news in the world and feeling sad when I have no distractions, I've been exploring different hobbies that take up more attention and feel more fulfilling. like seeing people's blogs has gotten me into blogging when before I had no confidence in my writing, or seeing a recipes page has encouraged me to try cooking and baking more stuff!
I used to spend hours scrolling on twitter, but now I'd rather literally touch grass haha
ooh a weather system would be really cool! and it'd probably fit with my personal site being like a virtual outdoor space :o
I don't think I have any wildly creative ideas, but there are some things I want to implement eventually!
an events page that I can change based on whatever holiday or event is going on. like for New Year's I can have fireworks and maybe draw some art of my characters partying, on Valentine's Day I can make some Valentine's cards, etc.
different skins for my website, so if people don't like how pink my site is they can browse in blue or black or something.
a character on the 404 page who you can play a choose your own adventure type game with, to make finding broken links more fun haha
it depends on the game for me. for casual life-sim type games like animal crossing or stardew valley I'll make a self-insert character.
but for more roleplay heavy games like dragon age or the outer worlds I like making original characters! I used to make self-inserts for rpgs, but nowadays I think it's more fun making an original character that feels like they were actually born and raised in that world. plus I've found that self-inserts in rpgs end up being shaped by the story and turning out nothing like me anyway, so I stopped limiting myself to trying to create a character that looks like me.
I think regardless of self-insert or original characters though I tend to use very similar traits for most of my characters. like I tend to pick female characters with short, unnaturally colored hair (depending on the character creator), and they tend to be bold, adventurous, maybe a bit mischievous, but also very kind~
I'd like notifications! I'm a forgetful person and don't always remember to check if anyone replied to me, so having notifications would be super helpful~
