i was going to vote for open in a new tab, but opening on the same page is actually a better default. like /home/user/ said, it would be up to the preference of the person

this also made me think about my tab opening habits! generally i just open the link in a new tab if i want to keep the old one, like if i'm looking at multiple products while browsing on an online shop, or if im browsing through multiple people's websites through a webring

banned for banning someone twice. you can still ban people three or more times though! 

i'm using chrome despite its privacy issues and my distaste for google, i'm planning on moving over to librewolf soon since it seems like the best in terms of privacy :>

i haven't plated that many games with character customization so i haven't really felt out for myself what i like to do. in animal crossing my player character looked like me, but in splatoon my player character i consider somewhat a version of myself and somewhat of an original character. i once tried to play fallout new vegas with a sort of idealized masculine appearance, but never got far with that game because it was too slow on my computer. i might try another approach next time

the last movie i watched was pink floyd the wall. it was a well made movie and i liked the animated sequences, but i didn't come out of it with my mind blown... maybe watching it after watching a critique of the nostalgia critic's the wall was a mistake 

Cello is actually an instrument that I think is super cool, but I guess the grass is always greener. When I played trumpet a lot of people thought that was so cool but I thought it was lame at the time. :P

you could always try it out for yourself (although i dont know how feasible that would be for you irl). i always stand up for my fellow cello( player)s!

It took me a while, but I've broken out my old synthesizer and have been playing again recently. My fingers are a bit slower, but otherwise it's like remembering to ride a bike. I had to learn to stop comparing myself to others and just be happy with the way I play, and I enjoy it a lot more now than when I was feeling like I should be the "best" and make everyone else happy.

i was okay at playing the cello but it was something i had to do for school. as soon as i could quit playing it i did  maybe i'll pick it up again in the far, far future? i also have a keyboard just because its cool but i don't use it 

also having the ability to follow threads and turn notifications on for a thread i haven't participated in yet would be cool, but would love to hear other folks' thoughts on that. maybe other folks don't share that sentiment :)

i would definitely use that feature too! for some topics i like seeing what other people have to say even if i might not add to that topic at all

finally taking the first steps into learning javascript and blender... 

my pets' names have been a mix of pet names and human names. i once named a betta fish after louise from bob's burgers. most of my pets were betta fish, actually, which was really bad in hindsight because of the horrible conditions they were kept in  betta fish are supposed to be kept in larger aquariums but pet stores really like advertising those cup-sized aquariums to would-be betta owners

i do really like naming my plushies after fictional characters though! i have a flamingo plush named after harry from disco elysium, and a zebra named after bob from bob's burgers :)

I'm not sure how I feel about pets in general, they were kinda fun to have, but I always felt bad about having these animals in situations that didn't really seem ideal for them; even though I took Chomp out for walks in the garden, he still spent so much of his life in a tank.. I don't think Id want to do that again unless I had garden pond or something more open.

im in a similar boat. i don't think i'd be comfortable with getting a pet if i didn't know how to take care of it and if i couldn't really hold myself responsible for the care of it. i briefly wanted to get a pet rat at one time but from there i learned how terrible pet stores are for the actual health of most pets ;^;
