Being an expert at anything that I want to be an expert at.

If it sounds a little bit convoluted, then that's because it is.

What drinks have you've been drinking as of lately?

I've been drinking quite a bit of milk oolong as of lately, and I can certainly say that it's one of my favourite teas out of the rest that I've tried so far. It's nice, smooth, and milky, with an extra little bit of sweetness on the side. If you're looking into getting a crippling tea addiction drinking tea that both smells and tastes good, regardless of whether you've used milk/sugar or not, then this is definitely one of those teas that I can recommend to you with ease.

I'm suspicious that it's another anti-piracy measure
On the topic of game streaming becoming yet another anti-piracy measure, I actually found this interesting article (http://snowymouse.com/post.php?id=1-video-game-streaming-is-the-perfect-drm) about game streaming a while back. It brings up plenty of good points about the faults and flaws of game streaming and the likes.

As for my stance on this, I'd say that the best idea would be to have game streaming as an option and not as the de-facto standard of the games industry as a whole. It's important for people to actually be able to download the software that they purchase, just to ensure that users aren't SOL should the game streaming servers go down. Though, with the whole "software as a service" model taking off, I wouldn't be all too surprised if game companies started making game-streaming-exclusive games in an attempt to thwart piracy, or even worse, the distribution of second-hand games.

Happy new year. While I don't really _do_ resolutions per se, my plan for the year is to simply spend more of my time on doing the things that I love whilst also ensuring sure that I don't feel as if I'm on final death mode 24/7 like I was for a large part of 2020-2021.

If you ignore emulators, then I'd say TheoTown. It's SimCity on mobile, but with cool plugins and whatnot. Even without plugins, it's still a pretty solid game if you're just looking for a good mobile game to play when you're out and on the go.

While I haven't made a webpage in a few years, I do have a few pieces of advice that I can give you if you're just starting out with building your own personal webpage.

1) Understand what you want to have in your webpage. This is infinitely better than just going around aimlessly without any set vision in mind.

2) After you learn the basics of HTML and CSS, just jump into the waters and start programming. Just like how you won't be able to learn another language by reading a grammar guide or two, you won't actually learn how to make a website by simply reading a few guides on how to HTML/CSS. It's always better for you to actually do _something_ than nothing at all, even if it's just some fun side-project/idea that you came up with a few minutes ago.

3) Take inspiration from other websites and don't be afraid to look into the HTML/CSS that they're using. You might learn a thing or two and/or get inspired to experiment around with certain effects and whatnot.

1: Personal Geocities site
2: School project in which the class was forced to use MS Publisher

I haven't made a website in a few years, though I do plan on making a new one soon(TM).

Just got a 25! Granted, I did get a little bit lucky with green square placements, but still.

Also, I believe that it'd be a good idea to have both wasd and the arrow keys work as movement keys. It's a little bit annoying for me to use setxkbmap to switch between dvorak and qwerty, only for me to then forget that i switched between dvorak and qwerty ,jgij od;fpk; gl md ktrglu kjg; uaonaod, but it isn't all to difficult to deal with.

I've been getting back into playing games over telnet/ssh and it's pretty fun and convenient for me. I find it nice to be able to log on from anywhere and not have to bring around a spare USB drive/SD card to bring my save games with me when I'm on the go.

As for 'actual' games, I've been getting back into playing OpenTTD along with Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 because they're just two really solid games with near infinite replayability in them if you're willing to shake things up a bit every once in a while.

fortunately, the moose was able to teleport his way to the other side of the earth so that he could enjoy his ice cream in peace!

It's ok I guess. Nothing to write home about.

today i officially put in my resignation at work. it was a toxic shitty work environment for the last 3 years, underpaid n overworked and totally a strain on my mental health, i was always on the edge of a breakdown and now i am FREEEEE (in a few weeks). i wanted to leave forever ago but finally had the courage 2 do it after being offered a potential big time freelance gig doing what i love (making art). the future is still uncertain but now i have the chance to do better things n work on my mental health. the burn out was REAAAALL.

phew. now the weekend starts for me :ozwomp:

I applaud you for doing that. Your Mental health is the one thing that you do not want to neglect, or else you will suffer for a stupid long time as a consequence of breaking down and/or getting into a depression.

Hope you enjoy(ed if you're reading this after 2021-12-12) your weekend, and best of luck to you! :ozwomp:
