Modified: FOUND A FIX, here it is for anyone with the same issue:

I tried to join but it looks like I can't get seem to get the 1.5.2 version to run without crashing.  :ohdear:

I have tried to do all the things that I can find online to do to get it to work but no matter what I get "exit code 1".
Things I have tried so far:
  • Close and try launching it again
  • Restart the computer
  • Reinstall the launcher
  • Reinstall the java
  • Update my drivers
  • Removed special character out of my Minecraft username

If anyone else has a solution I am all ears.

That was 90% of my early gaming, I loved it!

What was Purble Place? :omg: I have never heard of it.

I use Chrome on my personal PC and for my work PC I use Microsoft© Edge. There is no good reason for me to use Microsoft© Edge on my work PC other than keeping a strange sense of electronic separation between work and personal life.

But a weird interactive toy I did have was the voice-activated Voyager by Texas Instruments.

WOW! That thing looks really cool and out of this world :]

I was not aware that so many early game stuff where focused around trivia. Maybe its my perception or just my experience but I don't feel like there is much interest in trivia these days.

Leapster handheld video game systems

How could I forget about that gem!

Much fun was had on this thing.

yo, i had a leap pad as a kid too! i had a book for it that featured a playable piano keyboard, which was my favorite thing to do on it. young frost spent a ton of time making his own terrible ‘music’ with it.

Oh nice! I had that keyboard too and remember making similar terrible ‘music’. :ozwomp:

I wanted to share the existence of the Leapfrog LeapPad!
The LeapPad was pretty cool to my 8 year old self, as far as I knew I was the only one who owned it or was even really aware of its existence. It worked by having a book and a cartage, the book was placed into the center of the thing while the cartage was put into the side. In the machine there where sensors that could detect the location of the pen attached to it. This would activate voice lines that would read text out loud or play simple games. You would tell the thing to go to the next page by pressing the the on the designated area. Overall I have found memories of this thing, other than thinking its was lame compared to the consoles my friends had.

What odd gaming consoles did you have as a kid if any?

Ultimate Premium is a gem of a channel, it is a shame that they seem to have taken down allot of their videos for some reason, but the ones that are still there are neato.

Interesting fact I recently learned about the worm page! If you have multiple tabs open of it and click "Feed Them!" the thank you audio will trigger for all the tabs you have open! :omg:

Is this intentional?

This crab is not real!

It was dreamed up by an electric mind!

I really really like AI art and images, there is something inhuman about it that cannot be done by our monkey brains! :omg:
