[Corrupted Unicorn]

Since this is gonna be the board where we're gonna talk about OCs, I think it would be a good idea to have a place where you can introduce them to other users, so everybody is on the same page when Sir Derrick the Magnificent pops up on another discussion topic. 

The idea is to have a brief, understandable description of each character of yours in a post of your making here. If you need to add, delete or edit information as your charas develop, feel free to edit your post! If you see it's getting too long, either add additional info under a spoiler or link to a page where there's more about your character/s.

Here's a few basic points to get you started!

Gonna fill one of these with my site mascots, might come back later to add my characters too:

- Name: "Corrupted" (black half), "Unicorn" (white half)
- Species:  Two unicorns, both different parts to the same being. They consider eachother twin sisters.
- World/Story they belong to: My website!
- Role: Website mascot, a "keeper" of sorts.
- Occupation: Artist, Internet surfer, Wanderer of all sorts of worlds (and the physical one too)
- Personality: Loud, brash, remorselessly critical (Corrupted), [color=##000000]sensitive, optimistic, naïve, over-the-top nice (Unicorn).[/color] Unicorn lacks the strenght to stand up for herself Corrupted does; Corrupted lacks the gentleness and compassion for herself Unicorn has.
- Notable skills/powers: Chaotic, artistic unicorn magic to make anything happen  and the ability to transform into different forms. They can be melded together like putty or separate to become two individual beings, although they can't stray away from eachother too far.
- Extra info/fun facts: The ear-wings are a way for me to include wing motifs without actually making them able to fly; I'm considering swapping their hooves for elephant-like feet in order to match early unicorn descriptions better.

Oh, YAY!! I have so many ocs. Um.... We'll start with my non-fan ones. I'm developing a story about a woman (human/alien hyrbid) who runs the largest joint research-resort space station in the galaxy; Terpsichore II. Originally a resort station, Terpsichore was attacked by an unknown force fifteen years prior to the story beginning, having just been rebuilt at the beginning of the story, this time additionally stocked with scientists, anthropologists, doctors, engineers, etc, who are all trying to unravel the mystery of what caused the largest attack in galactic history. We'll start with our main now, but I'll add more later.

- Name: Yv (pronounced Eve) Winston
- Species: Half human, half Oqala (ladybug-like humanoid aliens)
- World/Story they belong to: The story of Terpsichore II
- Role: Protagonist
- Occupation: She is the commander of Terpsichore II
- Personality: She is very reserved, and since the Oqala are in constant conflict with the Calcit (a green humanoid alien species), she tries to distance herself from that side of her life... but she can't, because she looks more ladybug than human, ha ha !!! Here is an old piece of art I drew of her.
- Notable skills/powers: Yv is an extremely skilled mathematician, think "human computer"

so here's Internetter (or Net for nickname) first but i know i have heaps more (and also one i forgot the name of)

- Species: internet being (usually robotic, basically just pixels inside internet or a device, but humanoid and robotic-like)
- World/Story they belong to: this world i guess (or at least a parallel version of this world)
- Role: NPC i think?
- Occupation: is able to go through routers and almost any device post-2004 that can connect to internet, can be imported to offline devices via IR or cable (like Game Boys)
- Personality: trickster
- Notable skills/powers: digital being, acts like a worm but deletes any trace of her from behind
- Extra info/fun facts: she's actually come to mind based on an outfit i made in Roblox !

- Species: cursed human
- World/Story they belong to: probably my own but i dunno.
- Role: more a horror character, probably an NPC or antagonist
- Occupation: little child, like 5 years old ish.
- Personality: innocent, but can curse and psychologically damage other people.
- Notable skills/powers: able to possess other peoples bodies, send anything flying just by staring at it (kinda like a poltergeist)
- Extra info/fun facts: once she's accidentally thrown a boulder somewhere with... terrible accuracy, to be blunt. it's done lots of damage to whatever structure it landed in/onto.

- Species: Abomihoney (slime made of honey) (also outside of the bugables communities i just call them a honey slime to make it simpler)
- World/Story they belong to: slime pond comic
- Role: mascot, basically main character
- Occupation: tech guy
- Personality: chaotic, but also cares about their friends (basically a self insert)
- Notable skills/powers: pretty smart and good with tech (they made a sentient toster), also has a teleporter
- Extra info/fun facts: this lil guy didn't have a name for like 2 years, they were originally made as a kinda one off and somehow ended up as my main mascot?

I have so many characters that it would take up way too much time and space to introduce them all! But I can certainly talk about one, for now. I might edit the post to add more characters in the future as well.

Life

There's a version of Earth that's secretely maintained by various god-like entities. Life is their boss. Appearance-wise, they're a small, about a meter tall potted lemon tree with deep red eyes.

Their role in the world: As the physical manifestation of the concept of life, Life is deeply invested in the maintenance of Earth creatures. Every Aspect of Life (this is what the "gods" are called) have certain duties to fulfill, and powers to aid them with it. The nature of Life's duties, however, isn't well-known. A couple centuries ago, they founded a company called Existence Inc. with the goal of uniting all Aspects under one roof and giving them clear tasks. In this structure, Life functions as their CEO. This is the work they're most known (and despised) for.

Powers: One thing Life is known for are their Lemons. They're a manifestation of Life's energy, and eating them grants health and longevity. Every month Life hands these out to their staff, fuctioning like a paycheck. Strangely, they seem to miss an ability every other Aspect has, which is to shapeshift. Stuck as a tree, they have very little mobility and require constant assistance.

Personality: Their staff would describe them as "spiky" (as well as many other, less pretty descriptors). Life has an incredibly short fuse, seemingly always angry about one thing or another. The concept of shutting up doesn't seem to be a part of their world, either, nor is the concept of controlling your volume. Life never gets physical, but the verbal barrage of complaints, insults and shouting never ends. They always gloat about their power, skill, and competence, but none of their actions throughout the eons have backed up their claims. Their staff, for the most part, can't stand them. The feeling is mutual.

- Species: Skeleton (pretty explanatory)
- World/Story they belong to: Apart of the story of Skelecool: Remnants and a possibly highly retconned version of the previous game. Dunno the specifics yet. But it's dystopian.
- Role: Protag.
- Occupation: Nomad.
- Personality: Acts edgy, dark, and cool but is actually kinda goofy and annoying.
- Notable skills/powers: Can ride a motorcycle proficiently. A bit of a tinkerer (mostly because of his race). Can figure out how to use a weapon pretty quickly.

Anyway, here's a silly little guy I cooked up originally as a NPC that turned into a full fledged character!! The campaign he was supposed to be in never came to fruition but from what I can gather from my notes it had something to do with negotiating peace between two great warring dragons

• Occupation: Paladin of the Goddess of Luck (homebrew goddess to fit the outlander background :p)
• Personality: Happy-go-lucky, a bit of a doofus (v v low intelligence and wisdom), fiercely loyal to allies
• Notable skills/powers: however bad he is at reading maps, he can memorize routes by going through them once and is an excellent herbalist

- Species: Human (augmented) / dark-elf Hybrid
- World/Story they belong to: Warhammer 40k
- Role: protag and pet
- Occupation: explorator, dark overlord's pet
- Personality: Patient, meticulous, eerily calm, a mind that dissects everything, even emotions, as data. Gentle precision, moves slowly, deliberately, every gesture is calculated for minimum disruption. Curiosity turned into faith, he worships function as if it was a divine equation.
His affection style is awkward and understated, shown through acts of maintenance, devotion and proximity. He is not a cold man, merely one who has learned to express warmth through circuitry, to love for him is to catalogue and understand.

I have three now. It's part IRL part fantasy so I don't know if it counts but here we go :

- Name: Paprika
- Species: half-sized Succubus. Has a red skin, demon eyes and small pointy horns.
- Origin: She was summoned by Kalka due to a failed attempt at magic. She was very disapointed because she was expecting a human to consume its soul. Succubuses that don't come back to their dimension with a human soul are obliterated so she made a deal with Kalka to live on earth, avoiding her Succubus job and enjoying a rather normal human life.
- Role: side-protagonist
- Occupation: big pop-culture geek, vry invested into comic-books and CYOA books (think Fighting Fantasy or Lone Wolf)
- Personality: Smart but a bit lazy. She's in charge of the website's code.
- Name: Matcha
- Species: Goblin Necromancer.
- Origin: Matcha was a mountain goblin witch that got exiled for using necromancy magic. Forced to leave, she ended up barely surviving in a putrid swamp by herself for more than a decade. One day, Paprika landed in the swamp after trying to travel through time and space with magic. Matcha spontaneously helped her and they managed to reach Kalka again. For helping Paprika, Matcha was offered a life in their world with free access to magic & occult books. She also had a space to store her findings and to make bracelets out of pony beads.
- Role: side-protagonist
- Occupation: Magical-realted stuff nerd and pony-beads bracelet crafter. She's proofreading the website since a few weeks ago.
- Personality: Very smart but introverted. She's mostly silent and will speak only if needed. On her homeworld bracelets were very expensive and a symbol of high status, so she's making a lot of bracelet for Paprika, Kalka and herself.
- Name: Paprika
- Species: Multiversal lifeform
- Origin: Kalka was living eacefully in the void between dimensions, drifting in silence. One day, a nuclear test on planet earth made a crack in the reality and Kalka came in. The crack closed immediately after its entrance and the creature was fascinated by this world. Humans and thei good and bad sides, wild life, attempts at going to space. After knowing a silent void for many many many years, Kalka lived anonymously among the humans, as an amorphous blob. At some point, it dabbled with magic and the attempt summoned a succubus. The quickly partnered together and a few years after, Matcha joined them. Kalka's initial body started to decay and death seemed imminent but the combined efforts of her two sidekicks gave it a new body. It was a human female but now her condition is stable and Kalka is living peaceful days with the other girls.
- Role: main-protagonist (self insert)
- Occupation: Leading and managing the Matchaprika Club, taking care of Matcha and Paprika while studying humans and life on planet earth. Together, they are the Matchaprika Club !

This was created initially in 1999. Paprika was the main character of a Dungeons & Dragons fanfic that quickly derivated being its own original story. She was a rogue-warrior using Chakrams as close to mid-range fighting (like the characted Xena from the TV show of the same name). She wa s abit of a self insert but as I grew up I gave up on this idea.

Somewhere in early 2022 I dug out the computer from my parents' attic I thought it was sent into garbage but they kept it and after a bit of tinkering it booted up. I found bits of that Paprika story and I decided that I would make a self-insert character but she quickly gained her own story and traits so I couldn't insert myself as her completely. I came up with the idea of beig "Kalka" without a gender or even being human. As I got Paprika made into a reality, I was a bit disappointed that Kalka was an amorphous being because it was giving a very passive vibe. Matcha came up and I kept thinking about making a self insert so last month I decided to get a third doll and now the gang is complete. I know it sounds crazy but Matcha and Paprika are small bits of me and I'm really invested with them but Kalka is the full self-insert since I didn't felt comfortable being the only human in pictures with them.
