seeking a worldbuilding/character-making buddy!!! - ❤︎ ∙ World Building

i'm lucy or courtney, either is fine!

i've been in a creative rut like nobody's business so maybe the answer is to get some fresh blood in my creative circles... let's make ocs together and talk headcanons, worldbuilding, etc.! i'm probably not super interested in rp right now, but love to natter about ocs and build characters and settings together.

i'm not looking for: minors (i'm 30 i'm too old; ideally i'd like to work with someone 25+!), explicit nsfw/smut (romance + suggestive content is okay), rp, rp groups (MAYBE i could be sold on a SMALL arpg), grimdark settings, cyberpunk, scifi, furry/anthro-only (idc if that's the character you wanna make but i don't like drawing them enough to make my character one lol)

i am interested in:

settings: fantasy (mainly "medieval" fantasy but i am happy to do settings based on non-european cultures, and can maybe be convinced into urban fantasy), cottagecore/harvest moon/farming rpg-like settings, pokémon fandom (namely as trainers rather than mystery dungeon or gijinka settings), solarpunk
elements: witches, royalty, adventures, knights, magic and learning it, little rpg-style towns, circuses
themes: the power of friendship, hope and light even in the darkness, slice of life, upbeat tones, tragedy with catharsis
character dynamics: grumpy + sunshine, apprentice + mentor, knight + liege, traveling companions

i'm open to one-on-one chat or getting a small group together of people with common interests to build a world and a cast together! i prefer to build characters for a world, so i won't be importing any of my existing characters into our project, but you can look at them to see what kind of characters i generally like to write/create i suppose!! mostly i write women though lol...

none of these lists are exhaustive, just a li'l bit to give you an idea of what i like!!
