What are you working on at the moment?

At the moment I am working on my big project, which is a webring directory of sorts. I have been coding it and testing it a bunch over the past few days, and I'm really pleased with how it's starting to shape up. :)
I can't wait to share it, because I think it's gonna be awesome!

I miss chatrooms so much and it's very cool to have one on your own website. I willingly asked for no "general chat" so that it remains a private rooms only, between people who have previously arranged to meet in a specific chat room. Of course, I have no illusions, it probably won't be used, ever. But it's there :)

I set up a whole complex background using only background blend modes and some css tags on the html and body tag. It basically keeps all of the "computery" effects onto the html tag and leaves the body tag to add a little pattern blended on top, I'm using black and white patterns for the asthetic. The seperation also makes it really easy to swap the background per page by replacing the background of the body tag.

The side effect is that you can't display dark colors, since everything is blended to Screen, but...

Oh god, it's been a WHILE since I posted anything here, I got really burnt-out and kind of abandoned the indie web for a few months but I'm so glad to be back! 
Anyways, my more recent updates are the following:

• A blog I'm trying to keep the habit of journaling because it didn't work for me when I did it with pen and paper so maybe this will be better for me
• Aside from creating just the blog I also created 3 blog entries! a microblog a wishlist and a funny anecdote about me and my friend losing our minds because of Untitled Goose Game
• An RSS feed I have no idea why I didn't do this sooner but it's finally here

I just got back from a pretty long break and did a minor renovation to my website. I kind of reevaluated what I actually wanted my website to be and changed some small things around. The main thing I did was add a blog section for if I want to write about something non-specific. I also decided to not split up my reviews by type of media and just keep them under one page (though that page still only has movie reviews at the moment).

I feel a lot better with this layout than what I had previously.

we got a lot of work ahead of us (mainly as the source code is so terribly janky lol), but we've already made substantial waves in two weeks of being online!  plus its nice to finally have a home of our own :D

my third webring and its definetly the most complex html/css wise lol, members will have to be added in a very different way so i should probably get around to writing some code that'll fill out that template like with my ultrakill & portal rings :P

I have been really bad at working on my website lately. I am trying to remake my home page to reflect me and my interested as well as make some seperate pages to deep dive into specific topics. I have been updating my book reviews page more frequently when i feel strongly about a book. I hope to do this more and maybe even include some of the comments i upload on goodreads when updating my progress. I don't have very strong web design skills but im trying to just lean into it and enjoy website creation anyways lol.  im also creating this page which is my actual pride and joy and is a catalogue of all my clowns. i have so many to go (i must have like around 75) and a lot of them arent photographed yet.
