What do you use to code websites?

[Memory]

I use the in built code editor on Nekoweb.
It's very easy to use and i like that i can do it within my browser.
I chose Nekoweb to host my website because it has a very friendly-creative community.
Before i would use Notepad to edit HTML pages i made, but those weren't public lol.

VSCode. I used to like ATOM for glsl, but it got phased-out, so VSCode for all web-dev now.

I've been trying out different code editors. I switched to Emacs recently. I like how I can easily switch between using it through the command line interface and a graphical user interface, even if the GUI is a bit jank. There's even icons for both the GUI and CLI. It also comes with a built-in manual. I might write a blog post about it once I'm done with setting up my new guestbook, assuming that I actually stick with the guestbook idea.

I use... Notepad :))), recently I used Microsoft Frontpage 98 to make my webpage LOL

a very weird mix of GoLive and Dreamweaver and probably a slight bit of Flash as well because rive has become more demanding for money recently

[LIQUIDCULT]

I code straight in the Neocities editor like an idiot  ... for very repetitive site code I will open it in Onecompiler to make multiple edits at once. I just don't see the need to have an different software when the tools are right there.

I use vim directly on my server, just because it skips a few steps in having to scp my source files from my local machine every time i update. Is it efficient? No. Does it make me feel like Hackerman? Yes

While looking for a program, I didn't find anything like Sublime or Atom really good for me, so I just went and used notepad++ and all. Already used that editor as my main text editor so I really didn't have to change much about the way I used the program.
Other programs I've tried were Brackets, which I've found unintuitive, or just average notepad which worked well for the tutorials I had to look at but I didn't want to have too many instances of it running. So notepad++ is the one I definitely recommend over every single one.

it has been a while, would like to say that nowadays i use VSCodium - Visual Studio Code fork - with some extensions like Live Server, got so used to Emmet that id probably struggle on a program without. unsure of other extensions that should be used, just been using these two.

still using notepad++ for other stuff, just not website making.
