Why isnt there a nose picking business, like waxing body hair?

picking your friends nose should be a fun way to bond with your friends its like a blood bond but with snot

as for a nose picking business, it'd be revolutionary. people have to pick their noses every day!

this will never happen in the post-covid world, but i'm surprised nobody's ever tried to start a professional nose-cleaning service, like those ear-cleaning spas that are all over the ASMR side of youtube as someome with a history of sinus problems i wouldn't mind paying someone to go up there and clean it out!

All I can say about my nose is that drilling holes in it with a finger is healthy. That way you help your immune system to see, what's going on now.

Also, I wonder if nose implants will be possible one day. Like a rich furry swapping his / her nose with the one of a dog. Does this come with the superpowers for the sense of smell? Is that what picking noses will be about then?

hahaha i had to get sinus surgery when i was a teen because i had a whole fungus growing inside my face, so i'm never not aware of what's inside my nose

i'll SPORE* you the details but it was quite horrifying it hasn't returned since i got it removed but it did permanently mess up my sense of smell. always wear a mask if you're in an area with mold!

nose-cleaning probably would never have the same success as ear-cleaning D: have you ever had your nose swabbed? it makes you need to sneeze, which is impossible to do whilst you have the swab already wiggling up there, trying to tickle your brain.. not one of the worst sensations ever, but definitely not one of the best

i've had my nose swabbed but it was nothing compared to having a camera inserted into my sinuses it was one of those cameras on a stick that doctors use to see inside the body, my ENT surgeon used it to diagnose me with Sinus Fungus. i was a young teenager at the time, too, so i didn't fully understand what he meant when he said he was gonna have to stick a camera up my nose. i thought it would be something similar to the little scope that a primary care doctor uses. so he was like "okay sit in this chair and just look up at the ceiling" and i was like "okay! oh wait woah GAGLHGLGBH" it's hilarious in retrospect but shocking in the moment lol!!

that whole medical event prepared me so well for the age of covid nose swabbing-- i've had to do tests in a group setting before and everyone else in the group is suffering but i just jam that thang up in my brain like it's nothing hahaha

yeah it is! i picked it as a handle because if you don't get the reference, it just sounds like the name of an edgy metal band lol
