Early June Code Jam

hi folks, me and a few friends are planning a code jam from June 1st to 5th!

a code jam is an event (or series of) where people join, chat about coding and work on their projects, similar to a game jam. this can be people working together individually - on varying project sizes!
we plan on being pretty casual with things, so dropping in and out at will is all good!

if you're interested in collaborating (or just chatting about stuff), we have a Mumble and IRC server set up and configured - you can find out how to join below!

there's no definitive plan in place, so you're more than welcome to join and work on things, or just chat about code or general stuff if you want - though we appreciate 18+ folks only please!

if folks are interested, here are the details for our IRC and mumble servers:

• Mumble (TLS Encryption, Voice & Text Chat): N/A, Password: N/A
• IRC (Plaintext, No SSL, Text Chat): N/A on #gamejam

you're welcome!! we've been wanting to do something like this and we've considered stuff like hackathons and game jams, but decided to settle on a code jam so there's no expectations of ability or how much needs to get done!

no problems, really! just the age range of me and my friends,
so it's more just preferring hanging out and coding with people of our own age!

yeah - that's normal! IRC normally has folks dropping in and out periodically (for instance, i'm there now!)

Right now the two big coding things are a little crab that crawls across your screen and tries to steal your mouse and a script for webshrines that displays balloons and confetti on a character's birthday. If my brain doesn't break from all the js I'll probably polish up some of my site style sheets too.
