What's your favorite animal?

BEARS. i love bears, theyre so big and round and friend shaped. i dont have anything weird or crazy to mention bout them, i just find them neat. snow leopards, kangaroos are also a favourite. and ofc how could i not mention the majestic anomalocaris, theyre weird little guys

But I like most cats. If I see a stray cat in my neighborhood I try to befriend it. Sometimes I even manage to pet them, and I help with a neighborhood trap/neuter/release program. Of course, my own cats are neuters and I don't let them have outdoor kitty adventures.

pigeons, of course! there are around 352 different species, including famous ones you know and love (rock doves, wood pigeons, dodos, mourning doves, etc) and also including the weird ones we don't know very much about! like the cameroon olive pigeon (looks like it's covered in stars!) or the polynesian imperial pigeon (helping to restore native forests by spreading seeds from the fruits they eat!)

there's literally so much to say about these guys I could go for hours. but i am tired so you are just getting this.

So many, many wonderful choices here! 

Cicadas are very special to me, though.  I love how they arrive on prime-numbered years.  Since moving away from the Middle-West, I miss their songs & the dancing fireflies.

My favorite animal? The cicadas, of course. Especially min-min and 17-year cicadas. They are cute and loud and won't shut up, just like yours truly

It is difficult to choose a single favorite animal!  I really like lepidopterans & vespids, but really any arthropod is super cute in my book.  They are like little chitinous mecha that usually morph into different forms with special abilities. Isopods (especially sphere-mode!) & horseshoe crabs are adorable.  I just wanna put little translucent hats on ghost shrimp. . .

I think Saturniidae moths are number one, with a second place tie between hummingbirds & snails.

My favourite animal hmm....

I would say ducks! Well I love all birds, but ducks are especially my most favourite. They're just so round and expressive.
Like when they shake their rumps when they're happy is so adorable, or the quacking sounds they make are just so perfect for them. They love water and swimming, they're very social and there are so many types of them! How to not love them?

Other than that I also love many sea creatures but if I would have to choose, then whale sharks. I have a little dream to meet one in real life and swim next to it, but it'll never happen since I'm too scared of the sea and the ocean.

OWLS!!!!!!! 

They often dance the line between being creepy and cute (which is the way to win my heart with anything), they're sooo pretty, they're nocturnal, and they have all such fascinating little behaviors. Barn owls specifically are my favorites.

Other animals I love include cats, corvids, rabbits, deer, vultures, snakes, bats and tigers~

My favorite is ALSO okapi!! I recently bought a mug and some stickers from Okapi Conservation Project, but haven't decided where to stick them. I love animals with a contrast between their spots and/or stripes, like Somali Wild Asses and Zonkeys. My nearby animal sanctuary has two zonkeys who couldn't be more different in personality and I feel so blessed to get to know them.

My favorite animal is.... ducks. People are not always impressed by this answer BUT I do not care. I love the duckies. My favorite breed of duck is the Saxony Duck. They're a domestic breed, and they're pretty rare as far as ducks go. The American Livestock Conservancy has them listed as "threatened." I think they're super cute, and their coloring is soft on the eyes. One day I'd like to hold one. My life goal right now is to see every single wild duck species in its natural habitat. I don't know how many there are, probably a lot, but I think I can do it!

well, rnotte loves owls they are the perfect bird: cute AND creepy, a diverse range of calls, livening up the night, and of course, they’re a natural pest control. we can and should do more to have owls in our lives. ignore the folklores that portray them as harbingers of death; owls are essential to our ecosystem

my other favorite animals are bats, for the same reasons as owls; whale sharks, my favorite fish, for their majestic yet gentle presence; jellyfish, for their mysterious beauty and colorful diversity; orcas, for their strength, social behavior, and adorableness; and foxes, for their intelligence that even we humans can’t comprehend

i LOVE rabbits !! especially dutch bunnies and lop eared ones  i own 3 dutch bunnies as well !!
i can ramble all day on why rabbits are the best animal.. theyre quiet, calm, clean, fluffy and the cutest animal in the world 
i also like cats, dogs, sea bunnies, pandas and snakes ^_^

Capybaras! They're pretty neat, they're like giant rats but with the vibes of dogs. Coconut Doggies :)
Often have thoguht about owning a capybara one day, though I think the legality of owning a Capybara is very dependent on where you live in the states, sadly.

BUNNIES!!! Their round little butts and pointy ears and wiggly noses!!! There's like 2 or 3 that are living nearby and show up in my yard every day.

Also RODENTS (rats, mice, hamsters) and any small creature that looks vaguely like a rodent but isn't (like shrews and moles... I always forget what they are).
