DeltaFrost:
Hi there, I'm now Delta and this is just my reintroduction post. I used to go by the username HydraTriangle on Neocities ('Hydra'), but my new project is now DeltaFrost. I've been having a lot of fun with it! I hope to stick with it but if I do change the site again or make other projects I'll try to remember to update my Melonland profile again as well. I would like to be active in this community again. :4u:
Seryndelle:
Howdy-doody once again! I made an introduction post last year, but I wanted to reintroduce myself, because for a time, I was using a different handle on this forum (and throughout the Web Revival as a whole). My name is Seryndelle (she/her). I've returned to this account largely for gender-related reasons, as funny as that may sound. This username just feels a lot closer to the kind of vibe I want to convey to the Web :loved:
As for my favourite HTML tag—I'm so glad you asked! :pc: In the past week or so, I've returned at long last to my site. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say I've returned to my URL, given that I basically deleted everything and started building it again from the ground up! Anyway, all this to say, since I've been coding by hand this time (rather than using a layout generator—no hate to those who choose to use generators though!), I feel much more au fait with HTML tags and whatnot.
The first tag that came to mind when I read the question was actually the <\hr> tag (without the backslash), which creates a horizontal line across the page. It was one of the first elements (besides <h1> and <p>) that I added to my website this time around, and I feel like it provided a great structural foundation for me to get my head around organising the rest of the site's content!
That said, my heart belongs to <a>; hyperlinking is both an art form and, as you put it yourself, Melon, the lifeblood of the web. Without linking, we'd never be able to enjoy the adventure that comes with tumbling down an internet rabbit hole! :omg:
hydromaniac:
Hi!! I'm Castiel and I use they/she pronouns! I'm not really much of a coder (I do it for fun), but I really want to be a part of this community! I identify as agender and biromantic asexual. I really hope we can be friends! I don't bite, I promise. <333 :unite:
I'm not sure of how active I'll be, but I look forward to meeting you all regardless. I hope to meet some other people like me, so if we seem to click, don't hesitate to reach out! Please check out my profile for more info. :ozwomp:
zestpunk:
Yo. The name's zestpunk. I'm an artist and amateur coder. Only recently got into coding in the last 7 months or so but I've been having a lot of fun doing it. Hoping to learn how to get more creative with my web design. If I had to pick a favorite html tag it'd probably be the <iframe> tag. Nice to meet ya. :cheerR:
