Ephemeralitic:
Salutations!

I’m Ephemeralitic or Eph. I found out about the personal web from a youtube rabbithole and it hasn't left my mind since. I want to make my website(s) and participate in the community for a lot of reasons, but they can mostly be boiled down to the following:

* I have a lot of creative energy and a lot of ideas with what I could do with a website
* I am trying to not let doomerism ruin the world for me and this is one small way I can actually do something about the issues I care about
* I have a habit of trying to learn new things(which can be problematic because I want to get better at the things I have already learned, but what can you do other than follow the dopamine with these things?)
I am in my early 20's and didn't really grow up with forums so I feel entirely out of my element and may do some things wrong(both in attempting to communicate this way and also in webweaving). I want to try this despite that, perhaps to procrastinate actually working on my website but also so I don't do the thing I sometimes do where I try something but don't get involved with the community so I move on pretty quickly. I'd rather stick around and get to know people this time.

Please go easy on me due to my aforementioned inexperience with this type of site, and my inexperience with webcrafting in general. My first/temporary/test site can be found here:

Also I’d love links to your sites or your favorite sites from other people as inspiration, I’m primarily looking for visual styling inspiration!

For a 'test' site that is pretty damn cool! :mark:  I really appreciate the color scheme and the vibes are all-around pretty dope.

Welcome!

It's cool that you're trying new stuff, forums and website building! It takes time to get really good at this stuff, and that's ok! Don't get discouraged if you don't know how to do something right away when you're making something for your site. As for forums, take a peek around and see what discussions you can jump into. Put some thought into what you post, share your opinions, learn something from others, and make some friends! The slower pace (unless it's super active!) of forums can be really awesome, because it feels like hanging out on a lazy Sunday, to me at least.

See you around!
