I had an idea the other day! Gifcities is a database of GIFs scrapped from Geocities before it died, but it doesn't get updated because it's an archive from a snapshot in time! But what about a modern image database, dedicated to modern old-web-style graphics? It could include anything from the old days up until the new ones. I'm not much of a coder, but I know everyone has their image hoards that are often more than we can use alone! I feel bad hoarding so many images and not being able to use them all. I'd toss them up on my site, but I feel like some sort of keyword tagging system would help. Is there any sort of HTML/CSS template for this? It would be cool to use a Melonland Everyone site page for this, but I'm not sure if the tagging system would be compatible. (If not, I might start it anyways even in simple HTML in categories. I want a communal GIF site lmao)
