what is the best way to import fonts on neocities?

Should i use google fonts or download the zip and use it that way??
What code should I use if I see the links on google fonts since I've seen that the code is quite,, bulky(?) to use that way

I ususally just use Google Fonts. They have a pretty good selection and it's super easy to import, just select your fonts and weights and paste the code they give you.

I always use google fonts, unless I want something a little more extra (like the titles and text on this page for example) this sketchy font is not a google font, it's a font I imported using font face. I downloaded it from sites like 1001 free fonts or Dafont

For google fonts you can simply use the @ import link and paste it into your css at the very top. and then add the
font-family: 'fontname'; to anything you like.

Websafe fonts are on option as well! But they are very limited and don't offer a lot of variety. its simple tho
