COSMIC Desktop - May Flowers Spring COSMIC Showers

Thought I should share this here, because if you haven't heard, the people behind Pop!_OS have been working on a completely new Linux desktop environment called COSMIC, built in Rust.
They recently posted some updates on how it's going, showing off some of it's customization.

Really hyped for this myself!!  When it comes out I might just switch back to Pop!_OS.

I would like to see a global navigation bar on COSMIC that would be cool. There existed one on a GNOME extension but that isn't around anymore.

I will be sure to check out the environment when it's available.

One funny suggestion I though of is renaming COSMIC to FOOTSTEP and use a logo of a Garden Gnome to poke fun at GNOME with it's "footstep logo".
