I really enjoyed reading Dear Children, a mystery/horror/coming-of-age webcomic. Unfortunately it never got finished due to poor readership. And because flash player isn't supported anymore it wrecked the parts of the comic that were interactive.

It looks like the original website it was hosted on isn't up anymore either. The creator was cross-posting it on webtoon but it's not the same.

Ahh, a thread I can reply on. Time to do this.

Homestuck
A classic webcomic for the times. It gets rather confusing especially when you're reading it fast like what I did the first time, also there's plenty of outdated/offensive content as a warning. I'd recommend downloading the Unofficial Homestuck collection, as it contains most of the original content from Homestuck.

Court of Roses
This is the webcomic that got me into creating my own webcomic, one of my OCs does pay homage to the main character. It also inspired a future world. Unfortunately, I did get into a tiff with the Discord community and the creator that I will not be getting into here. Anyways, I really like the medieval aesthetic and the colorful characters in this webcomic. It's a really great LGBTQ+ comic if you want to read, right behind Homestuck.

Castoff

While I have only read the first and second chapter so far, the cast of this webcomic is rather interesting.

Raccoon Girl

If you like superheroes, I think you'll like this one.

Rock and Roar
I really love the 80s aesthetic and characters. Miles Kitteridge is the underdog I never I knew I would like.

I am from two years into the future from when I last posted here to recommend Metafurquest!!!
I think everyone interested in the Classic Web Feel might enjoy it! (if you dont like furries then it is not for you :dog: )
It's not being updated anymore but what's there is very compelling and interesting regardless! It has vague arg elements in that it has a defunct forum for talking about the fictional game as if it were real.
Please check it out it's really cool and one of the more unique and creative projects I've come across!

can i also throw Rain into this? cuz it's an amazing webcomic.
though huge TWs and things - it's from the 2010s and there's lots of uncensored slurs and other things that could be seen as problematic today. the webcomic's genre is drama also. it was intended to highlight major issues that often were ignored back then.

as mentioned it's realistic of its time and as such can be very triggering in many cases. just be mindful and don't dog on it just because it's problematic for today's standards - it started in around 2010 or 2011, and the whole point of it is to highlight major societal issues that were often overlooked or ignored. :4u:
