I definitely collect stickers. Any time I go to a convention, comic festival, or zine exposition I am on the hunt for the stickers. I love them. And I do use them! I stick them to my journals and sketchbooks. Though my collection has outpaced my usage.

I've also started collecting Tamagotchis. I got into it when I bought my first one last summer at a convention. I've got 7 as of typing and most of them are the Original Tamagotchi. I actually like the Gens 1 and 2 even though most collectors consider their game-play boring. They aren't wrong comparing them to devices like the Connection or the Uni, but I like the simplicity of them. I also like how small they are and they have so many cute shell designs. My two most recent additions to my collection are a Gen 2 with the tama picnic shell and a Connection with a melon soda shell. I've wanted some semi-clear shells for a while and I'm so glad I got my hands on these two. They were the last ones at the store. They are so pretty and have a nice nostalgic look to them. My white whale for my collection is a Morigotchi or Tamagotchi Garden, which lets you raise a bug Tamagotchi. They were only released in Japan in the 90s, and used devices go for upwards of $100 CAD. Alas I do not have the money to spend on something like that.

My other collection is Magic the Gathering cards. I've been at this since I was 10 (I am an adult past their 20s now), with breaks in between. I'm currently back at it again because my brother got me into playing the Bloomburrow set.

To the displeasure of my mom I am a collector of Cool Thing I Found On The Road! It’s mostly animal derived things, mainly feathers, but I’ve found dried parts of hives too, and I have big cicada wings on a little frame over my bed. Loooots of river rocks (a gift from my dad’s cousin) and sometimes little pieces of metal make their way there too.
I have a nice amount of gemstones too, I travel a lot to an old mining town so when I go I tend to get one or two.

I collect quite a few things, one of which is arguably much weirder than the others. I really enjoy collecting business cards! Ever since I was young, I'd go and take one of every card from each store we went to. My friends even get me business cards whenever they go on vacations :4u: I'd love to put them all in a case someday, but for now they sit dormant in my nightstand.

The second thing I like to collect is words. I find words that I think are interesting and write them down or save them somewhere. I also collect a lot of newspapers and instruction manuals for this reason, it lets me have easy access to all these different words for art projects and such!!

The final and weirdest thing I collect are school IDs. I'm currently a senior in hs and I tend to find a lot of IDs on the ground. Extra points for IDs with lanyards still connected to them. My friends will give me their IDs from years past and sometimes hall/tardy passes. I just keep them all in a bag in my room, though I'm running out of space :ohdear: It just started out as a joke, like, "oh hey now I have some backups haha" and now there's a good 25+ school IDs in my room just in a bag.

I'd love to attach photos of my business cards, but I am currently at school, scouring for new additions to the collection :dog:
