Ladies of the Llinks - A new webring I made!

I made my first webring!!

It's called Ladies of the Links, and it's for anyone that's a woman, or identifies as fem in any way.

I kinda got the idea from a webring I'd rather not mention -- Let's just say that they were more for biological females than women. I hope that this will be far more inclusive! I'm using webri.ng to create the ring, though I do kind of want to move off of that eventually. It'll definitely take a while, since I enjoy users being able to customize the ring any way they want!

I'm really, really proud of this whole thing, honestly. The CSS was suuuper annoying, since I totally forgot some of the basics of CSS grid, but I managed to figure it out. I was originally trying to go for a vibe of like, those websites for tweenage girls that I have such fond nostalgia for, but I eventually just went with cute and multicolor.

I think I stumbled on the terf ring not too long ago. And it gave me indigestion. But when I found yours, my faith in humanity was slightly more restored. Thank you! Trans women ARE women! PERIOD.

See, the thing is that I'm cisgender, but like.. trans ladies are literally still ladies?? Our experiences are different, but I can still relate to them and they can relate to me. We're both women, we just have different journeys.

I was part of the... other webring recently. I left out of disgust once I realized what it really was, but I also don't want to focus too much on that ring, honestly. I think it would be better to focus on moving forward from hate and create something new.

WOW, just creeped even myself out.

People have started emailing me about webrings they've started that I haevn't found myself yet. The list was updated earlier this evening. A bit disappointed that a few more have disappeared but it happens.

I noticed this too. Both navlinks go to DoctorDizzy's site.

In the code for the arrows you have to specify that it goes to the previous or next site via your URL. You edit the yoururlhere.com part.
