last christmas i got a tear off calendar:

i will now list all of the upsides to having one of these

you get a far side comic EVERY DAY of the year (really cool)
you get a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day (funny paper tearing sensation)
they're CHEAP AS FUCK
you know what day it is ALWAYS (fuck computer and phone. EVIL)
you can write notes to your future self (TIME TRAVEL. WITCHCRAFT.)
people will love you and your cool calendar

this has been my ted talk. buy a tear-off calendar

I totally looked these up on Amazon and am very tempted! Though I found some cool Chinese ones too that give you a daily fortune such as "Avoid vegetables" which is always good advice

we used to get a garfield tear-off calendar every year when i was a kid!!! it was always really exciting to see the comic of the day   
i should def get another sometime, i miss that a lot

i'm sure melonland user "cursedcalendar" has no ulterior motives for getting us all to get this calendar haha  

i got one of those tear-off tree calendars this year, the kind that slowly reveal a 3d paper tree as you pull away pages, it's been pretty neat so far!
