Does anyone else enjoy exploring the old net?

sort of, not really? unless it's forums like these... it otherwise makes me sad the number of abandoned websites there are. same with forums really, there are countless number of old forums that lay abandoned, but i still hold out hope when exploring around the old web for finding small communities like these. finding neocities websites is nice for the sake of exploring through an old time capsule, but all it does is make me long for what was.
