hallo! i go by ri (or syn) and i'm an anxious they/them who took way too long to actually say anything on this board haha

my hobbies are junk journaling, cuddling my cat, looking at rad websites, struggling with css, collecting books (mostly doujin), obsessing over genshin impact on & off, and drinking a ton of coffee.

i stumbled upon this board after getting increasingly stressed over social media and was thankful to know i'm not alone in this feeling. reading posts about breaking up with social media gave me a gentle push to stop my endless scrolling and see what else the web has to offer nowadays. i grew up with the internet in the early 90s, so it's very heartwarming to once again see so many personal websites being made. y'all are so creative!

hopefully i can break out of my shell and actually interact with everyone
