Finally finished version 1 of the site's mascot!

She's finally here... crispy image because i had to make her transparent but also keep the file small for the site... i could post a fullsize ver if anyone wants to see it... ya ha ha...

There's plenty of inspirations for her design, and i'm happy to talk about them, but first i want to hear what she reminds you guys of!

awesome design!! i love the silhouette created from her hair, it's really neat and stands out!
the crispy shapes in the hair definitely remind me of some hair designs from Pokemon, which i strongly believe utilizes character hair in silhouette really well.

She's gorgeous, great colours! and I love your art style!

As for what she reminds me of.. she's like if Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena and Sailor Mercury had a beautiful purple alien baby.

OKAY SO i forgot her ears... well. 'ears'. I'm not sure what else to call them.,,, aha ha... i think i put tthat layer behind her hair and it didn't show. anyway! once a few more people give their thoughts I'll make a longer post to explain her inspirations and such ha ha... but i like what I'm hearing so far!! definitely characters i didn't expect to see mentioned.... interesting... thank you all so far ;v;
