Scheduled Forum Events

What if there were small and brief events on the forum, like a bird chirping and flying across the screen, that only occur on a specific day at a specific time? I'd really like there to be something on the forum that captures (at least a little bit of) the feeling one might get from either tuning in to watch a specific TV show at the same time as millions of others* or unexpectedly catching a glimpse of a shooting star while outside late at night.

*(Obviously, this forum is rarely even in the fifties when it comes to the amount of people active at one time, but I'm assuming you guys would get my point. To elaborate, thinking about that specific experience is what led me to have this idea.)
