I've been doing a lot of code organization and overhauling for my site as a whole, yet to be posted.

As I learn more, I get excited and then opened my site project files to see disaster I once thought was perfect.  :ok:
But that's okay, I've been learning a lot from correcting my own mistakes, it's been pretty fun actually.

Specifically though I have been working on making a Pokémon shrine for my site. I want to wait until a couple aspects of it are at full form before I'm confident of posting it though. It's rekindled some sprite-working passion though. I've been trying to create a trainer sprite for myself with an overworld version as well, which actually has been the harder one of the two.

Excited to share when I'm finished!!... Eventually!  :wizard:

Stained glass. I drew a pattern very inspired by the Great Wave, but progress is halted until i have a workshop space set up because not all of my pieces are cut and ground down to the right shape and i really don't want glass dust and shards all over my house.

A constructed language. It's still in very early stages, but i got my copy of the Language Construction Kit in the mail a few days ago and it should help. I don't have a particular end goal for this yet. I'll probably use it partly as a naming language, and if i still like it when it's more developed i might try to learn it and translate my website into it.

Building my music collection. I recently got a bunch of (mostly used) CDs that i need to go through and rip.

Dungeons & Dragons. I've been assigned dungeon master by my family, who want to all play a campaign together.

Video games. I'm still enjoying Noita, and i've started playing Abzû and Tears of the Kingdom, which i expect to get in the way of my other projects a lot. I'm also most of the way through Hollow Knight and i do intend to finish that at some point.

Reading. I'm not very concerned with metrics like books read per year, but i recently finished I, Robot, Foundation and Empire, and The Island of Doctor Moreau; and started Why Q Needs U. I'm also still reading the Journey to the West and Lord of the Rings.

No new progress on my mechanical keyboard (i just need to buy wire), musical instrument, trading card game, guitar practice, or video game. No notable progress on any language learning.

Updating my HTML and CSS. It takes a LOT of time because I did a lot of pages. I feel stupid for neglecting ":root"and external CSS but I'm glad to be here.

The other thing I've done that I wanted to do since a while is to move from my registrar for the custom domain. I felt stupid realizing that other registrars were much cheaper for the same use. I have a static HTML website, the basic domain stuff is more than enough for me. So yeah, today I have left godaddy and I'm on porkbun currently. The other choice was infomaniak but I ended up choosing porkbun solely due to the price.

There still a lot of work to do but the HTML/CSS update is really helping me to learn and fixing previous errors. I'm dtiching Javascript as well except for some webrings stuff. HTML and CSS only, I'm really happy with myself !

animated music videos, the same as i always have. i’m working on one for a 9-minute rock epic, 2 for rap songs, and one for a violin and piano sonata. a diverse selection, if i say so myself

if you’re wondering, yes, i am getting paid well for these projects. it used to be that i’d have a deluge of low-paying work each month, but now i have a steady stream of high-paying work each month, which i prefer much more
