Hi Hi Hello!

Hello!! My name is Digi (Short for Digital)
I like surfing the web and collecting stuff. I've been addicted to computers all my life, learning how to install CD-ROMs at age 2, but I've been feeling more and more alienated from how computer and internet culture is becoming. 
So I'm going back to how it used to be! When 8 year old me was convinced he was going to make the next big MMO by hand on his family PC, when 13 year old me destroyed his sleep schedule staying up on school nights to edit our Tumblr's CSS for hours, when I felt inspired to create instead of just... numb and vaguely annoyed about the whole thing.
I have a little personal site on Nekoweb, Rainboe, where I'm relearning HTML and CSS bit by bit. I want to make more in the future... I'll get there some day!

Mini manifesto over, a little about me: I live in the UK, I'm 22 (23 in December) and use he/they pronouns. I like collecting stuff, currently I'm focused on collecting tech-related things (I just bought 5 DS games yesterday). I also like cosplaying, playing games, and art! I drew my avatar and the little guy in my signature (His name is Baby Bug!).

Anyways... nice to meet you! I hope we can be friends :D

Hi and welcome Digi! I really like your website, the rainbow aesthetic (not sure why I was surprised HAHA) is so fun and the design looks really nice. Was it all by hand/from scratch or is there a tutorial or template you were using (just out of curiosity)!? I also saw while I was on there that you were recently playing Club Penguin-- I love club penguin   my username here is actually my old username from back in the day!

Thank you!!!  My site is all coded by hand, but I learned most of everything I used to make it from freeCodeCamp and w3Schools! (And 10+ years of janky Tumblr theme experience hehe  )
CLUB PENGUIN god I love club penguin. I played 24/7 as a kid, to the point my singular career goal was to work on the club penguin staff. Safe to say I was devastated when it shut down  but I've been playing a remake called Club Penguin Journey lately, which is both super fun & relatively active compared to some other reboot attempts! My username back in the day was SupermodelD, which I still have ZERO idea why I picked it, but hey... don't matter anymore lol 
And thank you! Crunchy MS Paint art is my true passion in this life hehe

That's awesome, I've used w3schools a bit but never heard of freeCodeCamp I definitely bookmarked that, ty! I've never thought about it that way but I guess my first experience with coding was adding some hyperlinks to my Tumblr bio AHA but I've never played around with that too much.

OMG wanting to be on the dev team is so sweet ahahaha. Yeah I was devastated when it shut down too :[ I played Club Penguin Rewritten for a while, I actually started a Discord server for fans of it loll, but apparently they were getting into some legal troubles and whatnot? Just kind of lost interest after a certain point. Maybe I'll have to check CPJourney out sometime. :3

I like your Rainboe website color palette and how you twisted the name, there's something pleasant in reading "boe" instead of "bow". I've been on Tumblr around 2012/2015, it was fun but I felt a bit alone in my corner so I gave up. I used to run a "comic-book panels without context" kind of blog. I wasn't able to do any CSS/HTML at the time since I was associating HTML with super elaborated code writing.

Interesting, I never heard about freeCodeCamp, it's a nice alternative to W3Schools.

I'll be honest, Rainboe only came about because back when I used neocities, the domain of rainbow was already taken XD It's grown on me now though! "boe" is a good sound...
I was a Tumblrite from 2012 (yes I lied about my age to join back then...shhh!) and only quit earlier this year because my brain finally reached the limit of how much insane discourse I could read in one lifetime  TBH back then CSS/HTML didn't really register as a coding language to me, it was just magical bits of text I could copy and edit from around the internet to give my blog eye-bleeding rainbow flashing links in 20px bold comic sans XD

And yeah, freeCodeCamp is a lifesaver. I use it for a more streamlined, organized learning experience, while for me W3Schools is for when something isn't working and I have zero clue why. Like, textbook vs dictionary
