Horror (and otherwise) short stories!

Hiya!!

I love writing (even if I haven't done much of it most recently because of grad school weh  ), and one big thing that I wanted to do with my site ever since I first made it a couple years ago was to host my original creative writing on it. Most of what I write is horror stories, trending toward the spooky, body horror-y, surreal, dream-like, or some combination thereof! So, I figured I could just share some here :)

I have a writings page on my site where you can access most of these, but I'll share some highlights!

• I Saw Something Terrible Through the Eyes of the Jack-o-Lantern: a found footage/faux documentary horror by way of a short story in the form of a bunch of materials someone found when researching a slate of mysterious happenings in their town.
• Tractor Beams: Tractor beams
• Alone After Midnight: The most recent one I've both written and uploaded to my site. A kinda impromptu bit of flash fiction inspired by a flashing light visible from my street.

There's also some older stories I wrote when I was a teenager that aren't hosted on my site:

• The Boxes: Stomach Bug, part of a series I kept going back to year after year set in a world of alternate universes called "The Boxes." Probably one of my favorites in that series.
• The Boxes: Horse Hole, another entry that... oh my god I was 14 when I wrote this?? People really liked this one at the time, I sure hope I've grown as a writer at least somewhat.

Anyway!!! Just wanted to share some <3 I would love to hear what y'all think, or well, I'm just happy if any of y'all read these :3

You have a wonderful website and I feel like my vision of what my site will eventually look like is essentially a clone of yours but with a different color palette. I have just finished the rough draft of a short story I'm working on. I have not read your stories yet, but over the course of the next week I'm probably going to read every single one of them as I am on break at work and at other places so that I can stay in the creative writing "zone" as the hoo-mans say. 

I like the image buttons your site has and I like how it is all divided into neat categories and you have very much inspired me to clean up my website.

I also like the quotes with historical figures on the main page and it makes me happy to see them.

Thank you sm!! Whenever you're able to read 'em is alright, I'm just glad that y'all are expressing an interest! Would love to hear what you think of it when you read em :3 And thank you!!! I wanna make more lil pixel art gif buttons for other stuff on my site :3
