Mine is Venom: The Last Dance. Here is my very… detailed review of the movie:

As a long-time fan of the Venom series, I was eagerly anticipating the release of the third instalment, and it did not disappoint! "Venom: The Last Dance" is a fantastic mix of action, comedy, and some surprising twists that keep you on the edge of your seat, especially during the climax.Venom: The Last Dance" is a thrilling cinematic experience that masterfully blends action, humor, and a deep dive into the complex relationship between Eddie Brock and his symbiotic counterpart, Venom. This film takes viewers on an exhilarating ride, showcasing not only spectacular visual effects but also a compelling storyline that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.
One of the standout aspects of "The Last Dance" is the dynamic chemistry between Tom Hardy, who reprises his role as Eddie Brock, and the voice of Venom, brilliantly brought to life with a mix of wit and ferocity. Their banter is both entertaining and thought-provoking, exploring themes of identity, friendship, and the struggle for control. Hardy’s performance is captivating, as he embodies the duality of man and symbiote with incredible depth and nuance.
The film’s pacing is expertly handled, with high-octane action sequences that are both exhilarating and visually stunning. The choreography of the fight scenes is particularly noteworthy, as they effectively highlight Venom's unique abilities while balancing the narrative’s emotional beats. Each battle feels consequential, pushing the characters forward and adding layers to their development.
Moreover, the supporting cast adds richness to the story. New characters are introduced that challenge Eddie and Venom in unexpected ways, creating additional layers of tension and intrigue. The film does an excellent job of expanding the Venom universe, hinting at future possibilities while providing satisfying resolutions to current arcs.
Visually, "Venom: The Last Dance" dazzles with its vivid CGI and striking cinematography. The creative depiction of the symbiote’s powers is both imaginative and terrifying, allowing viewers to fully appreciate the darker side of this franchise. The film balances its darker themes with moments of levity that remind us not to take everything too seriously, making it an enjoyable watch for fans of all ages.
In conclusion, "Venom: The Last Dance" is not just a sequel; it's a celebration of the chaotic yet oddly endearing relationship between Eddie and Venom. The film successfully combines humour, action, and emotional depth, making it a must-see for fans of the superhero genre. Whether you're a long-time follower of the Venom saga or a newcomer, this film is sure to leave you exhilarated and eager for more. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love film, but I don't get out to the cinema all that often! the one in my hometown is very small and doesn't show much I'm interested in (they had 3 showrooms dedicated to the ronald reagan biopic last time I checked. no screenings of alien: romulus, which I was planning on seeing). my mom and I were going to go to a screening of the rocky horror picture show last month but ended up having a rather major family health crisis which is thankfully resolved. I think the last one I went to was the newest dr. strange movie with my girlfriend at the time, which I was kind of excited about because I'm a huge sam raimi fan but it didn't really do it for me. I don't tend to gravitate towards superhero stuff and those movies are really hard to watch if you aren't caught up on the 50 other movies and tv shows haha. before that, I was incredibly lucky enough to catch a screening of john carpenter's the thing for its 40th anniversary. it's one of my favorite movies ever made and getting to see it in the theater was incredible, even though it was right after my theater switched from projection to a large screen streaming system. someday I'll see it on 35mm... someday...

Last week, I saw the adaptation of Wicked. (The path to it is insane, heh: it's adapted from a musical that was adapted from a book that's a revisionist retelling/prequel of a movie that was adapted from another book.) Honestly, I liked it a lot more than I expected! The decision to split it in two is a little frustrating since it means having to go through an year-long "intermission" for the second part, but I can understand given they took the effort to not cut any songs from the musical while expanding from it. But still, it pulls from the Oz mythos quite well, and I can't wait for the second part.

I'm personally going to wait for the second part to come out to watch it, I remember liking the musical, but I do NOT have the patience to wait so long for the grand finale. I agree that the not cutting any songs is admirable, and I suppose it is better to have two parts instead of having a 5 hour movie.

Just watched My Neighbor Totoro in theaters!  :seal: It was very chill, I adore the soundtrack for that movie it's probably one of the best when it comes to ghibli OSTs. I got to snack on some Dippin' Dots so it all aligned perfectly
I'm actually also seeing Interstellar 5555 this weekend too which I am ecstatic for because I've been wanting to watch that movie for ages and what is better than seeing it ON THE BIG SCREEN!!! WHEW! I grew up listening to stuff like Daft Punk but I never knew about the movie they made

Sonic 3, was a solid enough kids movie were the big issues are some jokes get played out a tad to much in my opion. However it never goes on longer then it needed. Its nice to see a kids movie with solid moral and themes. Were every one is having fun in there roles. Keanu reeves continues to ooze charisma, even if id prefer a actual va doing shadows voice.
