I'm mostly making this for New Horizons, however if you play an older version that you'd like to share you can do that too!

Loy is MOSTLY a nature reserve and recreation island, I try and keep it as natural as possible, that said with the recent update there has been land allocated to farming!
Loy Features a number of unique attractions including!

• The Loy Opera
• Loop Walkway
• Fun Land Amusement Park, stay away, its a scam!
• Millennium Park
• Wilderness National Park
• The big frillin pointless bit in the middle

I will share some images and planning to share the Dream Address soon, but I was wondering how the risks are nowadays with sharing the DA? I heard some bad stuff over the course of the pandemic, about hackers using the DA to hack your island and getting it banned, stealing stuff, resetting the island, or copying and selling it (though the latter doesn't bother me tbh). And some use it to mass report islands so they get banned as well, even for LGBT content? I was wondering if now that the game is kinda dead and it's been a while, maybe Nintendo changed some stuff and fixed exploits? Or maybe this was exaggarated or some of it was a myth?

I've only ever shared access to my island with official visitors for turnip selling and that was fine so far, but never the dream stuff.

Okay, so, I'm not going to format it like the rest since, unfortunately, my town was never finished! A bit too big of a project...

Town name: Destiny Island(s)
Town fruit: I think it was peachs? I got all of them eventually, I think.


Themed around Kingdom Hearts locations like (the titular) Destiny Islands, I worked for ages on building set piece after set piece!!

Heres the secret place! You actually do have to find a hidden route to get here. I'm pretty proud of the furniture place for this one!



And lastly, so I don't overfill the post too much, here's a little scene off of the main plaza. I was aiming to make this area Traverse Town eventually!

Pictures and town lore: I have all the rhino villagers (except Merengue - I'm working on it!), and all my villagers have horns (or other keratin-based protrusions).
Renee and Billy were my starters, and Rhonda was one of my three villagers you had to go looking for. She has one of Billy's fleas in her house (Even after I decorated it after HHP came out! I used the original flea!!!)

Extra info: At one point I had Tipper on this island and I made the mistake of giving her the phrase 'milky', which of course was then very quickly adopted by ALL my other villagers. I'm also on my third (?) entire revamp of Amaryllis! I got bored after my initial layout and decided that I wanted a BotW themed one, but I moved house before finishing it and lost momentum on it and decided to partially flatten and go back to something similar to how my island was originally. Rodeo was my favourite villager when I had Wild World (I didn't play it for long) and I was devastated when he moved away, and so he's a permanent fixture of any island I've had. Needless to say I'm very glad they can't just decide to move out automatically anymore haha!

i've always heavily preferred acnl over acnh, even without the quality of life improvements that acnh implemented it just felt sooooo much cooler than acnh for some reason. but anywayyyyssss here's my evil hacker town

Hellooooo, its me melon, you may know me from such places as this forum and this thread

I wanted to share my New Leaf town toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooo o o ooooooooooo... Iv gotten into visiting it again more often since I have my 3DS out and modded, its a nice game to wander around for a few minutes if you are waiting on something or catching a bus!

Here is my house... its um a mess and it needs a lot of work, but I wanted it to feel like a museum for all the fake art that Blathers wont take (I think? It was mostly decorated 8 years ago!)


Here is me and my best friend Tabby, who lives next to me and never abandoned the town even though we didn't speak for almost a decade!

This was when we built the first bridge, it was destroyed in the great storm of 15', but we rebuilt it exactly the same and youd never know

Well, I've never really clicked with animal crossing, but I'll visit since I have the game on my 3DS still.

Nice! I love Animal Crossing! Been playing it since the Gamecube. Here's a few photos from our New Horizons island that I snapped to show my brother a few months ago.

The rest of my house is pretty boring and standard, but the arcade I set up in the basement I'm super proud of. The gyroids move around my house and this is where the party currently is.



And I'm very proud of my bathroom and my toilet collection. It's also where the fine art goes. Don't worry, those are all fakes. However, sometimes if I managed to nab a real piece of art from Redd, I'd sneak it into the bathroom until my wife noticed and forced me to donate it to the museum. ;)


Speaking of which, when my wife saw that I was sending pics of our island to my brother, she said "show him my turtle room!!" so you get to see it to.


She also has a cool tatami room...


Also... ever since New Leaf when one player could be the mayor and handle all the important aspects, my wife has been the Animal Crossing mayor since she takes a lot of the more organizational things a bit more seriously than I do. So in her basement is the "surveillance room" where she can keep an eye on every square inch of the island. Totally not creepy...


Here's our band on the beach! The cat on the bass drum is our roommates cat Kumo. We had a little too much fun with the feature where you import your own photos.


And the outside of our museum has a little walkable garden with displays.


...That is to say that was what our island looked like until we nuked it to start over. We wanted to play more Animal Crossing, but it's not as fun when you have everything and there's nothing to work towards. So we started fresh and are building it all back again. :)
