hi everyone im indy! (any pronouns) i've been a casual lurker on this forum for about 2? ish years now. i've been on the net since 2007 and have seen most of what the internet has to offer... and it is too much... (X﹏X)
i've made a resolution to get out of my shell and actually talk to people on the internet, and i figured joining a forum that was more personal web centered would be a good start! i've always enjoyed personal websites and the indie web as a whole, some of my fondest memories from being a little kid on the internet was making fanart in ms paint and sending it through email to my favorite webcomic artists.
as for my own personal sites... i was the coder/artist for an invader zim fancomic at
iztnc.space once upon a time... me and the group working on it kind of lost interest in invader zim though, and started writing original stuff together instead. it's kind of a broken site now and was definitely a relic of 2020-21 manic attempts to code things as fast as possible every week
now i have my own personal site at
secretlabz.neocities.org which i have been trying to revamp for ages since i launched its current iteration in like 2022. one day i will release 2.0... but anyway its kind of a place i just dump all my basic internet business card stuff. again one day... there will be more than that ^_^
as for interests... i have a lot of interests! i'm really into literary and art analysis and enjoy picking things apart in my brain b(￣▽￣)d i also love experimenting with artistic mediums of all kinds! i was really inspired as a kid by the various website based (and youtube based) ARGs and creepypastas out there and it really bleeds into the stuff i make myself, lol.
i also really like learning about history, specifically the engineering and manufacturing methods people used and how they came to their conclusions/methods.
