not sure if there's been a thread about this, but i seen a couple of people here who like fallout so here we go!  i'm a big fan of the franchise, especially when it comes to new vegas.  just finished watching the last episode of season 2.  not gonna post spoilers but the ending suggests taking season 3 to a brand new location never before explored in the fallout universe - i'm very excited to see how that turns out!  it'll definitely create opportunities to meet new tribes, factions and their stories within the wasteland!

season 3 filming is due to start in may, so i'm being hopeful and optimistic for a nuclear winter in 2026! also if you've been watching the show, who's your fav character?  mine was cooper right from the start, but now i'm leaning heavily towards maximus. :3

Only seen season 1 of the fallout show and while I enjoyed some elements of the show. Specifically the ghouls plot line. The comdey and style of humor is annoying to me. Its not like fallout isn't a comedic series of games but the tv shows style of humor dose not work for me personally.  Is season 2 less "jokey" then season 1?

thing is, the game franchise being transferred to another medium would never completely work, not without some kind of loss/sacrifice.  there's always going to be some aspect that works better in a game format and vice versa.  i honestly think todd howard and jonathan nolan did a terrific job with the show.  admittedly the family friendly comedy angle is a bit odd considering the source material, but i'm guessing they chose to play it safe while building towards a new generation of fallout fans.  after all, fallout 76 wasn't exactly bethesda's brightest hour. XDD

btw yes - season 2 does have a slightly darker tone.  :3
