Black out curtains are a must, and most people benefit from having a source of masking white noise (like running a standing fan) to help drown out ambient noises. Swing schedules are the absolute worst on your body, so if you're going to be primarily doing things during the night, try to keep a consistent sleep and wake schedule, just as you would during the day. Most people are not going to be super understanding of the fact that their 3PM is your 3AM- your social life might be a little turbulent, and your coworkers might be some of the only people you interact with for awhile. Figuring out meal planning in advance will likely be important, since you're not going to have as many easy options that are open late at night to make impulsive purchases for meals, (though that is dependent on the area you're living in, to some extent.) You'll probably want to get some form of online banking services, but also look into how you can schedule things that are only open during daylight hours- medical appointments, dental appointments, bank appointments, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, etc.

I'd tendencies into this direction at my youth. By now, I love the day - and if you'd ask me about my opinion on the idea, I'd advice against it for various reasons.

But since you didn't do this but asked for recommendations: You'll need to substitute Vitamin D.

I go between either going to bed insanely early and waking up at like 3am when it's still dark out and starting my day then, or waking up in the middle of the day and going to bed when the sun rises.. so I've never really fully been night or nocturnal only [outside of some brief few month periods haha,] but I have had blackout curtains for a decade now.

Another thing is just like.... you gotta let your body adjust slowly to new sleep schedules, and some people just can't ever comfortably sleep and be awake at certain hours without feeling sick, so it can take YEARS to make a sleep schedule work for you or you'll just perpetually feel not-rested.

Other than the black out curtains it's mostly just a matter of, being aware that there's a lot of things that are only open during the day [ie doctors offices and stuff, or if you don't have a 24hour grocery store] so make sure you always have a day or two where you're able to mess up your schedule to make it to things like that. Also humans need a little bit of sun for like a bagillion reasons so on the days you *have* to be awake, it doesn't hurt to hang out outside for a bit. Either that or get a daylight lamp to use at night.

Based on myself and friends who have tried to live entirely nocturnally even for brief periods, my suggestion would be instead to just lean *towards* nocturnal, and choose if you'd rather go to bed in the morning-morning [somewhere between 9am and 11am] or be waking up while it's still daylight [somewhere between 4pm and 6pm], especially so you can try to make time for things that are only open during the day so you don't gotta always ruin your schedule for stuff that is only available during the day, and cause it'll be an easier transition whch means easier on your body and brain.
