Soooo...... After waiting for whole week to join melonland, was thought melonland didn't accept my request since I don't get any notices like mail etc. Until I tried to register again and it tells me I already have an account, so finally I'm hereeeeeeeeeeee!

My name is Cco0orn, you can also call me Corn or o0o, although I don't know I'll be active here in future, or nah, but nice to meet everyone on melonland!

Who am I?
I'm a random, yellow-loving snake-shaped creature who from Taiwan, a tiny island country where I live, although I love my country, but sometimes I get bored without meeting oversea people (Especially on internet), sadly the only skill I have is write and read, listen and speak are not my kind of thing. I often love to sharing my feelings (Like interests and thoughts etc.) for people, but if you guys find it annoying or offended, please let me know! I'm trying to do my best.
I'm a hobbyist especially drawing (rarely crafting) like draw fanworks of Kururin series. As a huge fan of Kuru Kuru Kururin, one game series on console (Game Boy Advance and GameCube), I mostly draw Kururin-related drawings and crafts, even create a fan shrine webpage called Kururin Village, which made with my boyfriend, RevilleAJ, who also is a huge Kururin fan as me, we're together because the game series.

Although I only see website coding as "crafting" and a hobby ~~and actually I very hate coding so much~~, but websites like wix and straw.page are very limited, even for graphic-main person like me. I want a place when I can explain myself freely, my interest into website building started after going to one adult class in 2020, and knowing about neocities existing, it bring me back to childhood when try to use website building program (I think it's dreamweaver or something???) without knowledge of html and coding, which causes ton of errors like it doesn't show images etc.

Why I'm here?
In 2023 (Iirc), I finally post my first ever website on neocities after knowing about html and more, then Kururin Village in 2024, since my current personal website looks empty, I want to design a webpage which inspried by Mag's sky and Apple House, which feels like heisei retro and 1990-2000s, also I feel shame when using my best friend's code although he write for help me, my websites need more originally and creativity, so I start to seek help on communites like discord and reddit, but no one response on discord, reddit seens like less active (Although there's one kind person called u/cicada-ghost who helped me to make scrolling animated background for Kururin Village), since I found melonland, I feel like it's a perfect place for improving my coding, fix the layout of my personal website, so in future, I'd like active on webcraft for seeking help.

Speak about my english skill, although Melonland is read and write only place, but it looks like a good place to train my reading skill, since I'm kind of person who can't focus on long articles, reading interesting trends may would be help.

Thoughts about old web
Since geocities is closed down in 2009 before I know, personal webpages are just small parts of my childhood, in Taiwan, blogs were super popular when I was little, blogs like yahoo blog and wretch.cc, also flash games are my huge part of old web history, like personal website, blogs can be custom with codes like CSS, like widgets and layout, I feel jealous when people has fun layouts, when I don't know where to start to custom my blog, I was known nothing than putting silly widgets on my sidebar.
I miss communities like these blogs which you can custom everything, modern microblogs like twitter are toxic, I want a personal place where free to explain everything like blog and old webpage does.
About the personal webpages, graphic/pixels sites like mychat.to gives little me big impression, I was enjoyed collecting these tiny gifs like toys, even tried to do a website (As I mentioned before) but failed.

Questions
1. I can't explain well but, how you guys set your default font without adding [font] code? Or just adding [font] in every post?
2. Need I improve my melonland user page? Is my user page boring?
3. This question may be hassle and stupid, but there's online games with blog features? Or melonland would be it? (Yep it's so stupid), Ozwomp Online is cool but I see no one online here, maybe it's time zone or something. I miss games with blog features like CaraQ Room (If you search it the artstyle would reminds you of habbo hotel although I never played) and Miniworld (One Taiwanese blog game, not minecraft clone) and Ameba Pigg, even new version of livly island doesn't have the blog features, there's any silly games when you custom your place when you can write your own diary? I wonder......
