LINKS4U: an Information-Sharing Webring

Hi all! I've made my first webring, LINKS4U, it's for personal websites that host "collections of information intended for an anonymous audience."

What does that mean?
I'm interested in chaining together sources of information different webmasters have aggregated based on their interests and life experiences, and that they want to share with their site visitors. This information can include lists of:

• homemade recipes
• your favourite FOSS alternative softwares
• the tabs to songs you wrote
• resources for how to get into a hobby you enjoy
• etc.

The point is that the information is published for the benefit of someone else, namely someone you don't know and may never know---your anonymous site visitor!

Love this idea so much!! I've got a homemade recipes tab so I might jump in - just wondering if my page for root beer ratings also counts? lol I've got a page that's meant to be recommendations for root beers for other people to drink and I feel like it's cheating to join off only 1 tab that's explicitly info for others

Yes it counts! And one collection is sufficient to join the webring!
It's meant for websites that may "be about" a variety of stuff, but as long as there's at least one resource in theme with the webring, you're welcome to join. I'd love to add your rootbeer recommendations!

This sounds like a great Idea. I think I will join your Ring. Most of my stuff is more Personal Opinions of Stuff I find cool. And Shows, Movie and Video "Reviews" (More Recommendations than Reviews). I hope you don't mind. :)

EDIT: Omg I just realized a minor oversight in the widget code.   It's fixed now, but if you copied it beforehand you will need to re-copy it from the index page. Sorry!
