for context I was trying to get my hit count widget on my personal site to work as my requests to fetch the neocities API kept failing, resulting in this golden record in my vscode  :TNT:

I eventually figured it out but this is still funny af so I thought i'd share it

you call that a crash out? it seems pretty tame to me. I'm usually way more emotional then that I espiaclly get mad when Its something related to technology My Xbox 360 almost made me cry and I totally crashed out trying to figure out how to make lyte box work I just looked back and I think I deleted it and I was just in a terrible mood afterwards but I guess that's all just me

trust me irl when i was coding it i was so close to losing it and throwing my laptop out the window but my stubborn arse refuses to give up  but honestly yeah what u described is honestly kinda real i also have my fair share of tech related crashouts lol

kinda same here? except my 3DS simply refuses to connect to the internet anymore. and it's internal clock is fucked too.

it thinks it's 2049 and it won't connect online at all (it thinks it can't connect to the router) and i just believe inside it's dying.
it's a launch model phat flame red 3DS anyways, but still sucks. and the whole build quality too is starting to feel a little squeaky. the buttons (and especially d-pad) are losing their paint, the rubber bits inside are cracking and turning to dust, etc.

it still turns on but the circle pad also can drift (physically, you can just put it back into the centre) but it doesn't naturally go fully back into the centre without some outside help from your fingers. even calibration doesn't do anything.
and the touch screen feels a little soft? i dunno how else to describe it but - compared it to my Switch, my New 3DS XL and my DS Lite, it's like the plastic layer or something physically acts like something soft?

also the reason i don't use my N3DSXL is because the touch screen is done for.
and it's enough so i can't even homebrew it. so most likely it's probably bricked now anyways. and the hinges were already super worn out and i had it since 2017.
soooo it looks like all i have is my DS Lite when my 3DS goes. it'll be a nightmare getting a flash cart that actually works in this country.
