if you enjoy nu-metal and electronic music you'll probably love Mikau - their most recent album is pretty much perfect!
for alt-rock, you'll probably also like Bleed. i just got their debut album on cd in the post, i was really excited for it cus i loved their debut ep (you can ignore the bandcamp tags, this label just puts the same ones for every release - it obviously isn't black metal lol)
