I'm know there is a general musicals topic but I wanted one just specifically for this  . I personally love musical theatre so much. It's a very important part of who I am but sadly I haven't seen many in person. I've only ever seen one (Beetlejuice on broadway)  :drat: BUT I'm going to see ride the cyclone in october so that's exciting! anyways enough about my musical theatre experience, what about you? Which ones have you seen, want to see, or are going to see. I'd love to hear about them!

I'm not the biggest musical theatre person in the world but that doesn't mean I haven't seen Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat a whole three times! The most recent was this New Years just gone in Edinburgh, featuring the man himself, Donny Osmond, as the Pharaoh. They managed to make a 2 minute song last 15... but I can't complain, everyone had fun, performers and audience!
I've also seen Six and The Book of Mormon, which were both great to see live!

My parents are pretty big musical fans, so I've seen a couple (Wicked and Hamilton come to mind...)

The only musicals I've gone out of my way to see are the StarKid Productions (on youtube), they are so incredibly funny and magical and so so good!!

Does "Annie" count as a musical? I saw that back on Broadway during it's first run. Even got to go backstage after the show and meet Daddy Warbucks!

I've seen "My Fair Lady" MANY times (because I was in the pit orchestra, LOL!).

Also saw "Anything Goes" back in the early 1990s at Lincoln Center in NYC.
